The house itself was fine, though I think (having travelled in the area before) that you can get better value for money. The major issue, that really soured my experience, was the lack of internet. When we arrived for our ten night trip, we discovered we could not connect our devices to the Wifi. We contacted the host the next day, who came around to check it out, and said he would get back to us later. When he did get back to us he told us there was an ongoing issue and things were not going to be fixed before our departure (at the end of the following (!) week). Considering this is a rural property the lack of internet had a massive impact on our enjoyment of our trip.
