Our stay has extremely delightful. The host was there to meet us with a bottle of wine even. She showed us how everything worked in the apartment. The apartment had everything you needed, even bandaids.It was huge as well. Each bedroom had an en suite with soap, shampoo and conditioner. There were plenty of towels too.If you want luxury, room, and a chef's kitchen this is the one!!!

Veronique's apartment is huge and very nicely appointed, with a high-end kitchen, a spacious living room, plenty of storage room for clothes and luggage, and two comfy bedrooms, each with a private bath. It's located in a safe non-touristy area, full of shops and restaurants, just a 5-minute walk from Gare de Lyon metro stop and train station - making it incredibly convenient for getting to all the sights and neighborhoods we wanted to see. It's easily the best and most comfortable apartment we've ever rented in Paris. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. There were 4 (2 couples) of us, and there was plenty of room. It was decorated in a Parisian style that we all loved, and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Another plus is that it was near the metro and train station. There were plenty of cafes around as well. Our host, Veronique, was wonderful!! I would definitely stay there again.

April in Paris

My husband and I along with two of our friends stayed in Paris for 8 days. We were enamored with the apartment from the moment we first walked in -- just stunning! Veronique provided many thoughtful touches, like guidebooks and maps, restaurant and market recommendations, a well appointed and stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding and more. We were so grateful that the property manager Karima was able to accommodate our early check in when we first arrived. The apartment is located in a great neighborhood, just a couple blocks from Gare de Lyon. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this apartment!

Comfortable, roomy, clean, in a fantastic location. After a busy day it was a pleasure to return to 9 Rue Parrot. We were here for 2 weeks. How lucky is that!

Amazing Parisian Experience

The entire process was seamless especially considering our flights were changed by holiday travel and weather. The apartment is extremely well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We found the apartment quiet yet in a neighborhood conveniently located to public transport and fantastic restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

Perfect apartment

It was great to be able to return to the apartment after a long day being a tourist. The bedrooms at the back of the apartment were very quiet. Everything we needed was made available to us. Shopping was easy due to local stores. Would come back in a heartbeat.

When you visit Paris - there is no other place I would recommend! The apartment was magnificent. Everything one would need was provided. More than anything Veronique was awesome to work with! Thank you Veronique for everything! You made our holiday perfect.

I was very impressed with the apartment. Spacious living area and well equipped kitchen. Convenient to gare de Lyon. Enjoyed being near Marche d’ Aligre (7 minute walk)neither it’s wonderful fresh vegetables and fruits. Veronique was very helpful. Communications were excellent. Would highly recommend.

Bright and spacious apt

This apartment is not only beautiful and comfortable but it is near the train station in a friendly neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed plus tour books, recommendations for nearby restaurants, markets and a fully stocked kitchen. The couches and beds are comfortable and the space easily accommodated four adults. The neighborhood’s outdoor produce market, train station that is also a mall, shops and places to eat were a pleasant surprise. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Perfect Stay!

This apartment is perfect for 2 couples or a family- it’s huge! It’s well decorated and extremely comfortable. The pictures online are very accurate. The kitchen was large and truly a cooks dream. Beds were comfortable, each bedroom with sizable bathroom. Television with some English channels was a bonus. Washer and dryer were put to use! It is located one block from Gare de Lyon, and the Paris Metro is a joy to use. The Aligre market was a short walk away, as were many restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. Check in was simple, and communication with Veronique was easy. Our week here was perfect- I highly recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending Christmas at this apartment. Karima received us and walked us through the apartment pointing out how everything works. Veronique answered all our questions. We enjoyed becoming familiar with this area of Paris. There are grocery stores, patisseries and restaurants located nearby. I have rented vacation apartments from VRBO for over 18 years and this apartment was the best supplied apartment we have ever rented. The kitchen was supplied with all the basics and more. Instantly felt at home

We were two couples who had been travelling in France for about three weeks and were very much looking forward to our upcoming stay in Paris, even though we were a little tired. The apartment was perfect. Instantly comfortable and just a lovely space. It is exactly what you would expect from a classic Parisian apartment. The fully equipped kitchen was a welcome bonus. The location was also ideal, close enough but not right in the busiest touristy areas. We had easy access to the metro and the Seine was just a few blocks away. We were given lots of helpful advice for shops and services that were close at hand, including a boulangerie we are still talking about. In all, a wonderful experience. Merci.

A Perfect Paris Visit

What a wonderful property this is! It is very large, clean, and well-appointed. The living room easily seats six and the views are lovely. The kitchen is fantastic, with everything you would need to prepare a meal. And every appliance you could think of too, including multiple types of coffee makers. The hostess even left us a gift of 2 bottles of wine. We did several loads of laundry while there, and especially appreciated having a dryer. The bathrooms are large, with loads of room for toiletries, etc. The location was also ideal, with a Metro stop less then 2 blocks away. Both a Carrefour and a Monoprix were very close, for groceries or just a bottle of wine. It was very nice to have an elevator, rather than lugging baggage up multiple sets of stairs. In this lovely setting, we felt we were Parisiennes for a week!

Spacious and Well Equipped Apartment

This was a great "home away from home" apartment for two couples in our 60's. Just the kind of authentic Paris neighborhood I had hoped to enjoy. Wonderful windows allowed for breezes, comfortable furniture in living room for relaxing conversation after a long day of touring as well as the kitchen table in a very well stocked kitchen. Bathrooms were modern and beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy and accommodating with our schedule. I am challenged using stairs so the elevator was a main consideration for me and it worked well. The building is secure and was easy to enter with code. Bakery with offerings of fresh bread, croissants, etc., is just down the block along with a small grocery which was perfect for us. The walk to the Gare du Lyon station was short, and if you go inside the main building you will find escalators to reach trains. We also used Uber easily from apartment as well. The apartment was clean and we were delighted with the welcome bottles of wine left for us by the owner to enjoy (from their own vineyard).

Wonderful apartment on Paris

We usually stay in hotels when we travel, but decided an apartment would be so much more comfortable and affordable, especially sharing it with friends as we did. Comfortable is an understatement for this place. It is a home away from home. For us the modern well stocked kitchen was the focal point of the space. It was really nice to be able to have breakfast in the kitchen and plan our days travels and have a light dinner after many “tasting tours” and great lunches out. The bathrooms are modern and updated with ample hot water and nice towels and linens. The host, madam Veronique Voucher, happens to be an exemplary host. As an example, we were not used to European expresso coffee and the two machines she has, so she bought and had delivered a drip type coffee maker. Very nice! The location is very close to the metro system and has some great cafes, bistros and patisseries within walking distance. The living room space is bright and full of light with a wall of floor to ceiling French doors that open to the street below. The apartment itself is classic French in its architecture and is very secure with two pass code doors to gain entry. It also has an elevator. We are very happy we choose staying here and would stay here again. Merci beaucoup, Veronique

Stay in Veronique Vaucher's Paris Apartment

Overall, we were happy with the apartment. It is spacious, has all modern amenities and is convenient to tourist attractions. I think we had a misunderstanding about the role of the woman she enlisted to greet us when we came. We were under the impression she would be around during our stay if an issue came up. She showed us everything very quickly when we had just come from the airport and were very jet lagged. She was nowhere to be found during the week when we couldn't figure things out like the door locks, washing machine and tv. Perhaps her role was only to greet us and give us an initial go round. Venronique was very lovely and consistently responsive but we didn't want to bother her given we thought her neighbor was going to help us. We apologize for leaving the garbage in the kitchen because we could not find the door to the outside where the trash barrels were. All this being said, we would like to make some suggestions: Please, some written instructions, like about using the washing machine, television and door locks. And directions to the room where the trash bins are. The couches were quite uncomfortable and look like they were very old. They could use replacing. Leave a glass pitcher in the kitchen so we can have cold water in the refrigerator. We thank Veronique for her graciousness and hospitality.

Beautiful home in Paris

What a wonderful place to spend our short time in Paris! Veronique’s flat is luxurious and large enough for two couples to share with plenty of room to spread out. It’s in a great location, we walked everywhere in the Latin Quarter, Marais, all the way to the Louvres (though we love walking). Also close to many metro and train stops. Wonderful kitchen, and near the marche if you want to cook some meals in. We are chefs, so having a real kitchen was a major plus. So much better than a hotel, and so beautifully appointed.
