Very cute little place. Host was pleasant, helpful and very quick to respond when we had trouble getting in upon arrival.

Comfortable bed. Roomy living room. Kitchen shelves need a bit of cleansing as no room for our groceries. Host was awesome in responding to any questions we had.

In a nice peaceful area. Plenty of dining options available for a short stay. The property itself was clean, but has funky kind of smell, almost musty like. Hard to describe. I think it's just the old carpeting. Beyond that, I definitely enjoyed the location.

Great location

Owner was very responsive to any questions and comments about the rental. Any suggestions were taken seriously and issues dealt with. Comfortable bed. Please be aware that the owner must also stay here at times as some closets and cupboards have the owner's personal things stored there so you need to work around that. It is not a big issue.

Great little 1-BR condo

Our first visit to Anza Borrego (one week). The condo's central location optimized seeing vista 'hot spots' each day with easy returns for food and rest. Vintage-with-upgrades, very clean, ample supplies (for 2 people) for a 4-night stay. Parking for one vehicle right outside; very private from neighbors; pool access just beyond the back door/patio. Nov temps and weather were PERFECT (even witnessed the moon eclipsed our last night...WOW-thanks Derek! LOL). There's a lot to see in AB, so coming back is definitely in the cards, and we'll work to stay there again. Yes, the owner was amazing, alerting us to a scheduled overnight power outage, and a few glitches with our cell service. Verizon and AT&T are strong, we had issues with Boost, and it worked for us by directing communications via emails. WIFI was seamless. Everything worked out very well and we can highly recommend the condo. Great owner too.

Cluttered, dark and shabby

Borrego Springs is a wonderful place to spend a few weeks; we enjoy hiking and cycling here. However, I cannot recommend this specific apartment for more than a few days – at least not until the owner does a thorough cleaning and decluttering. Except for a tiny chest of drawers in the bedroom, every closet, cupboard and drawer is stuffed. There are fake plants and other tchotchkes on every surface. The dishwasher and the bathroom fan are LOUD. The oven fan and front screen door are broken. The carpets and furniture are old; the dining chairs are cheap and rickety; and the lighting is poor. Two people could manage here for a few days, but no more. Which is really a shame, because the Club Circle subdivision is quite attractive – beautifully landscaped and quiet at night. And don’t plan on using the pool – it’s unheated and freezing.

We’re sorry to hear the apartment didn’t fully meet your expectations. The extra blankets, kitchen appliances like the ice maker, and waffle iron, and items stocked in the closets are included based on feedback from many of our guests who appreciate these touches, particularly those staying for extended periods. We understand, however, that this might not align with every guest’s preferences, and we’re sorry you felt the space was cluttered. To clarify, the bedroom does have a closet and a six-drawer dresser available for guest use, but we appreciate your feedback and will review ways to better balance functionality and convenience. We’re always open to constructive suggestions and continuously strive to improve the guest experience for both short-term visitors and our typical winter guests, who often stay for a month or longer. この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We took a drive down to get away from the hustle and bustle of our city life. When we arrived to the area it was so unique and unlike many places we have been. With no stoplights, being remote and a little isolated but yet commutable to bigger cities nearby and the local owned stores / shops really drew us to make a purchase! We loved seeing the Mid Century Modern design and we absolutely couldn't miss the amazing stargazing just outside the patio!
