We stayed for a concert at the amphitheater. The location is about 18 minutes away. Plenty of space for guests. Property was clean upon arrival. Host was easy to communicate with.

Terribly uncomfortable beds in all 4 bedrooms. Mold in throughout the guest book. Taped up armrest on futon was tacky. Not enough blankets provided, especially for the trundle bed. Excellent large open kitchen/living room space for our group. That was comfortable for our group to hang out. Nice large table to play board games. Kitchen was great. Plenty of parking since we were all coming from different destinations..there were 4 cars. Windows were dirty. Pencil markings left on the bathroom wall watts tacky. So wasn't the quality of the sheetrock patching.

We were in town for a laid back bachelor party. Five of us stayed here very comfortably. This place has everything you need for a weekend stay and it was close enough to Bangor to come and go. I highly recommend this rental especially if you need 4-5 sleeping accommodations.

Perfect for a quick overnighter

This was a great spot only 20 minutes form the Maine Savings Amphitheater, which is why we were in the area. Clean and comfortable.

Everything we needed and more

We stayed 2 nights, during a week long road trip through NY, NH, ME, and MA. Having the space to spread out, after cramped hotel rooms elsewhere, and the ability to do laundry was great. Everything was clean, in working order, and provided for a pleasant stay.

Lisa’s house was perfect for our one night stopover in Hampden! She had many kitchen and bathroom toiletry amenities. We felt very comfortable in her flat.

The process to check in was really smooth with detailed descriptions way in advance. It was spacious with lots of product for the bug-repellent. The night sky view - to die for! It was an hour away from the Acadia, but the drive was fun. - We really wished that there was a vacuum and a mop so that the floor could be cleaned, the toilet had running stain in the front, and there were other areas where cleaning could make the stay more pleasant.

Above the restaurant

This was a very clean space with lots of room to spread out. Lisa and Jeff were very easy to work with and gave us great recommendations of places to visit in the area. There was some street noise but it quieted down in the evening. I would come back again. Thank you for a lovely visit to northern Maine.

A Weekend Stay

The pictures accurately represent the property. The only surprising aspect was the location. Situated on a somewhat active road, the property sits on an old gas station and above an unoccupied Chinese restaurant. Noise from passing traffic was an issue for our infants at times. Despite this, I would stay here again.

Interior apartment was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was a plus. The only bad review is the exterior. The garbage was overflowing in dumpster and the lawn needed trimming especially close to house

Hampden apartment

The inside of the apartment was clean and there were plenty of blankets and toiletries. The outside looks like it used to be a Chinese restaurant. Everything was adequate except for the water pressure in the shower. Pressure was very low.

The apartment is nicely done. It is above some sort of old gas station and is a little surprising to drive up to. The biggest problem I had is that it advertises AC and it didn't have it. At least it had fans in each bedroom.
