The home is just as exquisite as it’s location with 1.6 acres of beautifully landscaped green space. Enjoy this 3000 sqft home that features a large kitchen for entertaining and a great room that allows you to view gorgeous sunsets from your favorite chair. Plenty of room for all with indoor spaces that flow to a huge wrap-around patio. Whether you are gathering indoors, on the shoreline, or with your boat tied up to the boathouse there is no way you won’t love this property. All outdoor enthusiasts & seekers of peace get ready to relax as we provide the kayaks, wine glasses and coffee mugs to enjoy this amazing home.

We booked this home for our daughter’s wedding weekend as it was very close to the venue. In can’t say enough about this home. The pictures don’t do it justice- it’s so beautiful. And it has big windows looking out to a beautiful yard and lake. The kitchen and living room are large and held our group beautifully! And the bedrooms were comfortable and so nice! It was the most peaceful, beautiful place to stay! And Dawn the host was so gracious and met our every need. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the love in this home! It was the perfect place to spend our special weekend!

Best Memorial Day/Birthday Celebration!

Honeybee Hideaway is a dream! The honeybee theme was found throughout the house. Right on the lake...had everything we could have wanted for our family gathering. We gathered our group from five different states to celebrate our daughter's 50th birthday! It was truly the perfect place. Our only small complaint was that we wished the outdoor stuff would have been clean for us rather than us having to wash it before we could use it. We could totally recommend this home and the owners were very responsive!

Bee-utiful Stay at the Lake

We had some friends visiting from out of state to Dallas for the first time. This home was the perfect place to hang out and spend time together between our "tourist-y" outings. Dawn was an amazing host and super communicative, while her home was exactly as shown in the listing (if not better). The views and peaceful scenery was the perfect setting for our "home away from home". We also got to taste the honey made from the property's own bees and its was delicious. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful lake house!

Wonderful Experience and Beautiful Surroundings.

We had 4 of us in town for a golf trip / birthday gathering. The house was impeccably clean and bright. Everyone enjoyed staying there. The house and location were even better than the pictures. The hosts were responsive and kind. They even left a birthday card and some honey from their garden. It was a great trip. 10/10 would stay again.

Family time at the Lake

We had 10 fun days of enjoying our family after two years since we were all together. The house is beautifully appointed and well stocked. The fire pit was the perfect place to watch the sunset over the lake! The large windows made for wonderful lake views. The beds were comfortable and all the sheets and towels were provided. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Dawn was great to work with. She responded right away to messages and was very accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. Definitely recommend this house to others.

Beautiful house nice location

We took our family for a long weekend. Had adults and small children. Property and house are beautiful and we made use of the kayaks. Lake was flooded but we still enjoyed it. Hosts are very responsive. Overall a great experience

Little Elm Tresure!

We loved our stay at the Honeybee Hideaway! The house was fantastic and Dawn the host was very prompt and answered any and all questions we had. The house was very clean, and the beds were VERY comfortable. The back patio was the perfect place to relax and hang out after a day out exploring the Dallas/Fort Woth area. I would highly recommend this property to any others looking for a unique and fun location to stay in the area!

Wonderful weekend stay!

Glorious comfort and room to do everything!

We used the outdoor fire pit and played soccer and catch outside. The fireplace and living room was so comfortable and inviting with a beautiful tree decorated. The kitchen was perfect, I loved the added heavy skillet. We did art watercolor projects in the kitchen with the windows streaming in natural light. . Loved loved the ping pong table. The automation of the house was easy and appreciated. This was our second year and I plan to come back next year!!

Beautiful home. Wonderful memories made!

In town for a wedding. Rather than stay in a hotel, we decided to stay at a VRBO. Great decision! The Honeybee Hideaway is beautiful and very comfortable with stunning sunrises. We greatly appreciate having the opportunity to stay in such a nice home! Would HIGHLY recommend.

Great family reunion

Beautiful property and amazing view especially at sunrise. Spacious rooms and well equipped home. Plenty of outside toys available, ping pong, corn hull, kayaking, boating etc. Treats provided by Honeybee owners Dawn and Chris. Close to Little Elm even enjoyed golf near by. Would highly recommend this family home! Great Murphy bed off master bedroom but room to small to use.

Lakeside week

It was extremely hot outside while we were there, really too hot to enjoy the outdoors. Had the weather been cooler all the bugs and spiders would have kept us from enjoying the patios. The owners did have someone come and spray midweek but I feel like that should have been done before guests arrive. They were quick to resolve whatever issue we had and we appreciated that. It was a nice house.

Amazing Stay!

Wonderful Staycation

Whole process went smoothly from beginning to end. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. House was beautiful, well stocked and immaculately clean. Location on lake was perfect—we all spent time enjoying the view. Even though we were only 30 minutes from home, we definitely felt like we were on vacation. Would highly recommend this property.
