This property has it all; location, comfort, and incredible charm. The kitchen is upgraded, there’s an easy to start fireplace in the living room which makes the home extra cozy, there’s a fabulous three season porch, and the beds are super comfy.Mary Beth, the owner, is very helpful and attentive. And to top it all off, we only used our car once during our four day stay because you have so much in easy walking distance from this property.We plan to stay again when we return.

Home away from home

We have stayed in this charming, beautiful home three times, and we are overwhelmed each time by how much we love it. The location is impossible to beat, the house is very child and dog friendly, and it just makes you feel so cozy and comfortable the entire time you’re there. Couldn’t recommend more, and can’t wait to hopefully be back soon.

Lovely retreat

beautiful spot

We were very happy and comfortable in this beautiful cottage with so many little extras. I am a chef, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed to make our meals. The short walk into town was perfect, and we look forward to staying here again in the future!

Perfect Prelude Location!

We stayed with our two kids and pup at this lovely cottage over Prelude weekend! It was the perfect location to pop in and out of activities on a chilly weekend!The house was very well-appointed and very clean and comfortable. Everyone thought their bed was the most comfortable!We were so pleased - thank you for having us!

Little taste of Heaven in Kennebunkport

I am just in love with this little cottage and this little town.Maine has been on my bucket list for the last few years and it has not disappointed.The cottage is adorable and a 5 minute walk to town!! I literally feel like I am in a Hallmark movie.... minus the Christmas decor and snow.Now I have to come back in December for those!I could not have loved this place more...I highly recommend this town and this home....

Fenced in yard

So close to town and very comfortable. Lovely fireplace. Cute backyard with firepit and grill, comfortable table and chairs with umbrella, completely fenced so our dog could be out with us. Parking is a challenge; one car is fine.

AMAZING location!

This cottage was absolutely adorable! It had so much charm. The location is the very best. The furniture was so comfortable, the whole feel inside the house was cozy. We couldn’t have been happier with the property. It was so close to all of the shops but so quiet at night. We brought our two dogs and they loved the fenced in yard. We will definitely be back!

Perfect weekend stay

We rented this cottage at the last minute for a long weekend and we were thrilled that we did. We have stayed at this cottage for the past three years and we keep coming back. The host are wonderful people who take pride in their cottage and work very hard at making certain that all of your needs are met. The cottage was very neat when we arrived and as usual well prepared for our arrival. It is ideal for us to bring our dog to enjoy the ocean and walk with us to the downtown area which is so dog friendly. The home has a great backyard with wonderful neighbors that we talk to every year. The walk or drive to the beach is short and the ability to let your dog enjoy the atmosphere of the ocean early in the morning or late at night is fantastic. It is sometimes difficult to find a cottage that allows you to bring your dog on your family vacation. We live the location of the cottage and can’t wait to go back next year. No frills, prime location

While the location of this rental can’t be beat the condition and cleanliness leave much to be desired. It’s close to the best of Kennebunkport attractions - shops, restaurants, beach, allowing you to walk most places. However, this spot needs a handyman and a deep clean. We appreciate the fact that it is pet friendly but the overwhelming smell of animal leads me to assume it is not properly turned over between guests and that many pets have marked their territory on the many area rugs. The floors were not swept or vacuumed, yet we paid a cleaning fee. The furniture is dated and worn. Some of the amenities included in the cost were not working (dishwasher was broken, spare bath had no hot water, bathtub did not drain, master bath outlet had no electricity, air conditioning would not turn on). The host did ask to be contacted about any issues in the home, however, we did not feel like spending our four day vacation dealing with repairs, we do enough of that at home. It’s just the little things at this property that are going unaddressed. Fixing broken blinds with tape and toothpicks? The nicest part of the home is the yard which is tranquil and well manicured. We made the most of our trip but were not totally comfortable here. It was difficult as we have an almost one year old who we could not properly bathe or allow to crawl on the floor. Side note - she came home with a bacterial skin infection we suspect was contracted during our stay. This is an honest review.

Cozy and welcoming

My family loved staying at the cozy yellow cottage in Kennebunk. The house is just a block away from restaurants, coffee shops and the bridge to Kennebunkport. We absolutely loved the neighborhood, which was super quiet in the off season of March. The house itself was perfect for the three of us and our two dogs. It had everything we needed and the kitchen was well-stocked. There was a bottle of Merlot left on the counter for us when we arrived - a nice touch that we appreciated. Everything was clean and well maintained and the place just had a good feel. We would definitely book again.
