Escape to Hutch Mountain—a cozy 2BR/2BA cabin perched high above Helen with breathtaking mountain views. Sip morning coffee on the covered deck, unwind by the gas fireplace, then gather at the fire pit for sunset s’mores. Private, wooded setting with Wi‑Fi, cable/satellite TV, full kitchen, BBQ grill & free parking. Just 1 mile to Unicoi State Park and 3 miles to Alpine Helen.

This cabin has one of the most amazing views of the mountains. You can sit on the porch enjoying morning coffee or by the fire pit with your favorite beverage enjoying the sunset by the rock fire pit. You will absolutely enjoy this cabin so much that you will come back year after year, and two or three times a year.

We loved this Cabin. The location was perfect. We spent one day in Clayton visiting and eating BBQ. Conveniently located to Anna Ruby Falls. Our last day we drove down to Dahlonega for the day and shopped around. Our last night we grabbed steaks from a general store otw back up from Dahlonega, grilled them back at the Cabin, watched some football. The weather and view of the mountains were perfect!

The cabin was nice and the view was amazing. However, after staying at many cabins in the mountains over the past several decades, we've never encountered not being able to control the thermostat with the property mgt company having to call the owner to adjust. We tried opening windows and none would open. We did have a number of other issues, but the property mgt co. was responsive in handling things. Overall, we just didn't feel "at home".

Wonderful location, only 10 minutes to Sautee Nacoochee or Helen. Very quiet, clean. Host was very responsive. I will plan to stay there the next time I am in the area.

This was a great place to stay at a good price. We very much enjoyed the cabin and the location. We’re 4 senior citizens and one of the beds was difficult to get in due to height of mattress - a little stool would have been helpful. My other suggestion for improvement would be higher quality toilet paper. I’d definitely stay there again!

Perfect Cabin for Us!!

This was our first time staying at Hutch cabin and we can't brag enough on how wonderful it was! It was so comfortable, almost as much as home, and the VIEW! Oh my goodness, we loved just sitting out on the porch looking at the beautiful mountain that was so close you could almost touch it!!! We definitely will be back!!

Cleanliness

Beautiful cabin in a nice, secluded location with the best view we’ve ever had. However, the floors weren’t as clean as they should’ve been and this cabin has no washer and dryer which is fine if you only stay two or three days. We stayed seven days and luckily had packed enough clothes.

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in Helen.The view is incredible and we especially enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch and taking it all in.

kyou have handicapped ramp, but no grab bars in showerI am 89 and had difficult in getting in and out of shower.

Peaceful Getaway

The setting and view were just gorgeous. It was really clear and could see the mountains. A little windy to build a fire in the pit outside but the fireplace was warm and welcoming. Loved the cabin.

Surprised

This was our second time staying at this cabin. We were a little surprised and disappointed that all the windows in the cabin were nailed/screwed shut. The screens were also missing. Not sure why. We missed being able to open the windows for fresh air. It was a little concerning that it could be a fire code violation even though nothing happened. Also would be great if there was access to a washer and dryer.

Gorgeous Cabin

Wonderful view. The entry road is nicely paved but the dirt roads are rough and have some nasty "washboards" which are rough on a 60 year old Porsche. 10 MPH was the going rate of speed.
