We had another wonderful stay at this property in Mystic - our third year returning, which really says it all! The location is fantastic and incredibly convenient to Main Street, and having dedicated parking is such a bonus. The host and team are always incredibly communicative and quick to respond to any questions, which makes the entire stay feel easy and seamless. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the amenities are thoughtful, and the check-out process is simple and straightforward. We love coming back here every year and look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this property for a comfortable, convenient, and stress-free stay in Mystic!

This was the BEST vacation home we have ever rented!!! Communication was wonderful from start to finish. Excellent location! The house is gorgeous and every amenity you could need is provided. Laundry option, comfortable beds, great living room to hang out in, beautiful bathrooms…I could go on and on. Just when I thought I couldn’t love it any more, I read the check out instructions and we didn’t have to strip the beds and wash towels before we left. We just got to be guests. It was so wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

This was the nicest, cleanest and most well-appointed rental I have ever booked. However, I cannot leave feedback without mentioning the issue with loud noise from the bar literally outside our windows. There is no noise ordinance and the bars close at 2:00 a.m. I'm sure if it was raining or cold it wouldn't be a big issue, but impossible to sleep until the bars closed.

Thank you for your very kind comments about our home. As clearly noted in our listing, we are located in the heart of downtown Mystic, steps from the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and nightlife, and guests should expect some residual nighttime noise from nearby restaurants, bars, and downtown activity, particularly on busy weekends. The type of noise you reference is extremely rare. And as we do with all guests, we specifically asked you to call or text us if the noise became disruptive so that we could address it immediately, including contacting the police if necessary. Unfortunately, we were never contacted about a noise issue during your stay and therefore we were not given the opportunity to intervene. We take our guests’ comfort very seriously, but this is a downtown property and some ambient nightlife activity comes with the convenience of staying in the center of Mystic. We encourage prospective guests to consider our clearly disclosed location and noise information before booking. For guests who value being able to walk to everything downtown Mystic has to offer, we believe the location is exceptional; those requiring complete nighttime silence may be more comfortable outside the downtown area.

The house was lovely. Linens and towels were included which I never had in a VRBO rental before, which was so nice. The kitchen was well equipped though we ate out all nights. It’s was so convenient to be able to walk into town and nice to have 2 parking spots. Also it was nice that other than a light cleaning all we had to do was run the dishwasher before we left. It really had the benefits similar to staying in a hotel. The only issue we experienced, which is mentioned in the listing, is the noise at night.

We loved our stay at the Dutch Bell! The house is very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked (even milk for our morning coffee!), and there are many attentive details (lots of towels, bath bombs, cozy throws). The location in downtown Mystic can’t be beat and having our own parking made coming and going very easy. We hope to return soon!

I have been walking by this house for the past 30 years. I am so happy we had the chance to stay here and see how nice the inside is. This is a great location. The owners are awesome! They thought of everything and went an extra mile to ensure the house was equipped with everything one may need and more. Great house, location and owners. I will rent again if available.
