16 Acre Aggie Octaranch in the Bend of the Brazos River

Come enjoy our beautiful 16 acre Octaranch! This custom built octagon shaped, Aggie themed home was built on 14 foot stilts in the bend of the Brazos river. Enjoy the sunset, beautiful pasture & river views on the wrap around porch, a swinging bench, or the tire swing. Roast marshmellows in the fire pit (we provide a s'mores kit!) or cook shish kabobs on the outdoor grill and take advantage of the outdoor table and seating. We provide a fully stocked kitchen to make cooking, grilling or baking easy. Make memories playing disc golf, volleyball, the bean bag toss and many other outdoor games.

Amenities and extras we have:
-Propane (at no extra cost) and grill utensils
-Firewood (one full rack provided at no cost) and lighters for the fire pit (along with a s'mores kit!). If back up firewood is used, there is a $50 charge.
-Everything you need to cook or bake in the kitchen (including spices/condiments)
-Lots of things to do for little ones including Lincoln logs, board games, toys and books.
-Huge DVD/Blue-ray collection.
-190+ Channels, including the SEC, PAC 12 & NFL Network
-Extra seating and tables for inside and out.
-Pack n Play, along with a twin air mattress.
-Toiletries and first aid kits
-Sunscreen and bug spray
-Tree house with table, seating and patio
-Water, tea, coffee and snacks

Just under 7 miles from Kyle Field, Texas A&M University campus and North Gate. Only a short half a mile walk to buy fresh eggs passing friendly cows and a view of the top of Kyle Field along the way! And a quick 10 minute drive to the Easterwood Airport.

While we do allow Ring Dunks, Graduation Parties and Events, there will be an increased nightly rate due to extra incurred costs such as septic tank service, amenities restock, cleaning, and property maintenance. This is rate dependent upon how many guests will be attending.

Early check in or late check out can be available with Host approval for an extra fee. Pets approved on a case by case basis. PLEASE NOTE, hosting a Ring Dunk/event can incur an extra $100 fee for trash removal. If your trash is taking off the property, no fee will be charged.

Charming Country Getaway

Hands down one of the most relaxing places we’ve stayed. The property itself is beautiful with plenty of entertainment for both adults or kids. The host has thought of everything making it a wonderful stay! Highly recommend

Perfect place

This place had everything! We have stayed at many places but the attention to details was amazing! Jessica was very thoughtful in her check-in book, her generous appointments, her organization, and her communication. The property was so much fun! You will not be disappointed!

Excellent Experience

Everything about the Octaranch is great. From the property outside to the awesome interior, we loved it. We were so pleased with how comfortable and homey it felt to stay here. Everything you could need was made available to us. I highly recommend this property. It is a remote but that is a huge part of its charm. Super quiet and peaceful. Thanks for a great stay.

Amazing Property and Amazing Host

This was my first time booking through VRBO, so I didn't really know what to expect. My brother and I, along with some friends, were planning on visiting CSTAT to meet up with people, and this property was perfect for large groups. We had more than enough room to play spikeball during the day, sit around the campfire at night, and have a kickback during the evening! The property was super accommodating for all our needs, and the land/space truly made me feel as if I were on vacation. Most importantly, Jessica, our host, was super friendly and maintained great communication with me from the moment I booked her house to even after we checked out. She gave super helpful directions, complimentary snacks/drinks, and clarified parking and proper use of all the amenities so that there was no confusion. Jessica went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. If my group and I ever need to come back to CSTAT again, we would definitely book with Jessica again!

Amazing Home & Host!!

I’ve stayed plenty of places before and NOTHING compares to this property. From the beautiful home, the gorgeous property, and our amazing Host, Jessica. She went above and beyond for us from the moment I booked our stay with her, and even after we were gone. She always replied very quickly, checked on us throughout our stay, made sure we had everything that we needed, explained everything to us to where we had absolutely no questions, and even went the extra mile when I forgot something after we were gone. I couldn’t have asked for a better host!! The house was everything we could have asked for and so much more. It was very homey, and the views were gorgeous. We were able to relax with our kiddos, watch the deer in the mornings and evenings, and let them play. There was so many things for the kids to do, and to enjoy. Our babies didn’t want to come home and are already asking to go back! She had everything we could even think of possibly needing in the home, and even left some Christmas treats for our kiddos to enjoy! :) She was very thoughtful! We spent the weekend here and went to Santa’s Wonderland. We plan to make this a yearly thing now, and to come back and enjoy this property!

Awesome outdoor space, very clean house.

Enjoyed having outdoor space for kids to play and adults to hang out. So much better than small hotel room in town. Plenty of amenities, felt welcoming.

Perfect Aggieland Ranch!

We loved our week long stay at the Octoranch! The house was well appointed and had everything we needed for our family of 4 (including a baby and a toddler). Beautiful location and the views from the porch are incredible! Jessica, the host, was wonderful to work with, made sure we had everything we needed, and was very accommodating for the small event we had at the house. Will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect for graduation weekend

Our stay at this home made our son’s Aggie graduation weekend so easy! Just a few minutes from campus, it was the perfect place with lots of space for celebration. It is *so* well-stocked with everything we needed for the party after - lots of outdoor games (corn hole, ladder golf, basketball hoops, even disc golf and others), picnic and folding tables, a fire pit. We had a great time with family and friends. The owner Jessica responds immediately to questions and is so helpful. Would love to stay here again.
