Enjoy your holiday on Fisherman's Isle, in this rustic Island cabin on the canal that leads to the river. The cabin has been completely decorated-for Christmas There is a deck overlooking the water with chairs and Gas grill. Cabin has everything you need for a nice relaxing get away. There is a full kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook. The cabin has 4 beds ,1 queen downstairs ,2 twin and 1 Full upstairs. Enjoy fishing, boating, bird watching or take a relaxing ride in the paddle boat or Kayak (included with house) on the canal. Also, across the street we have added a lighted pier for night fishing on the river. Complete with fish cleaning table and water. Enjoy a complementary bottle of wine for your first evening and farm fresh eggs for your first breakfast. Go just 10 miles upriver and eat at Dido's restaurant for fresh seafood. Something new ( we just added WIFI)

Perfectly cute little cabin right on the river. We had everything we needed for 2 adults a teen and a 4 year old and plenty of space. 3 beds upstairs and one downstairs ensured we all had some privacy. The owners were so kind, they offered us an early check in and even gave us some red fish they had just caught! The bottle of wine and fresh eggs from their own chickens was such a delightful touch of hospitality. They have a private pier and we caught some crab! The views and wildlife there are amazing. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a VRBO rental thanks to the owners!!

It's a great place to relax and fish. Nice and quiet neighborhood but close enough to the city to go out to eat or to the beach. The only problem we had was the it didnt have wifi. When we booked, the description said it had wifi, but when we got there we found out it didn't.

Perfect spot for Rest, Relaxation, and fishing fun! We had a fabulous stay at this peaceful island getaway! If you're looking to unplug and truly relax, this is the place. The sunsets over the water were absolutely breathtaking, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to unwind. We hardly saw another soul during our 3-night stay, which was exactly what we were looking for.Fishing was a highlight—whether from the back deck or the private dock just across the street, we had a great time casting lines and enjoying the views. The home itself was cozy and well-stocked, with a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The fresh eggs provided for breakfast were a lovely and delicious touch!A special thank you to Iverna and Randy—wonderful hosts who were incredibly kind and helpful. Their home is truly a hidden gem. While some nearby homes are a bit run down, it didn’t affect our experience at all, especially given the very reasonable price for such a peaceful retreat.There’s a Dollar Store about 10 minutes away for essentials, and a larger town about 30 minutes out. We brought our own food, so we didn’t need much, but I believe there’s also a restaurant nearby for those who’d prefer dining out.Thank you again, Iverna and Randy, for sharing your beautiful home—we left feeling refreshed and grateful!

A peaceful escape by the water.

Relaxing stay with plenty of fishing, crabbing, and quiet moments by the water. Great for the family, peaceful, charming, and full of character. We’d definitely come back!!

Cozy place to stay with plenty opportunities to fish or crab without having to travel! We were able to catch catfish and blue crab. The local cat also came to hang out when we were fishing (such a sweet boy). Apparently there are alligators trying to steal bait in the neighborhood (riverside now) or just begging at night so be prepared.

The cabin was decorated so cute! The property was very nice, situated on a good-sized canal and the river across the street - a very calm, peaceful and relaxing location. It was stocked with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Iverna, the host was wonderful, a great communicator and very attentive. We loved every minute of our stay.

Kind hosts, neat cabin, waterfront fun

Thw hosts were very kind and helpful. The cabin was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. Really nice oitdoor seating with loghts for fisjing the channel at night. We really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I have had a house here on the river since 2002. We love the quiet, the fishing and most of all the neighbors. We live a very quiet and relaxing life here on fisherman's isle.

We bought this property from a very dear friend of ours to start our adventure into vacation rentals. This house has a lot of history behind it, years ago this was a crabbing and shrimping community, and this house was where the old sandy bait shop was operated out of. The fishing, boating, kayaking and bird watching are amazing here. You never know what kind of fish you may catch or what species of bird you may see!
