Total Scam
Before driving 9 hours to ATL for a graduation, I texted "Kimberly Alexander" to inquire about the earliest check-in time. She never responded. After arriving in ATL, attending the graduation and performing a RT drive to Lithonia, GA, we were tired and ready to shower. When I called to inquire about parking, "Kimberly" answered, hung up and never called back. We parked in a guest spot and buzzed different units until someone buzzed us in. When I got to the rental unit, the door was locked and the keypad was non-functional.
After waiting 25 minutes, the VRBO rep instructed us to go back into the building and take photos of the unit's door. That process took another 30 minutes. Only then, would she escalate the issue to a case manager who proceeded to ask questions that challenged the truth of our story. In the end, VRBO offer 1 day in a hotel. We were staying for 2 days, and thus, booked via another service company. VRBO finally refunded my fees, but offered nothing else. You have been warned!
