Our Ottawa Valley Beach house is located on Henessy Bay, along the Ottawa River, and offers amazing sandy beaches all around. Beautiful shallow entry is great for swimming and children. Situated only 1.5 hours from Ottawa, enjoy free use of paddle boat, kayaks, padelboards, beach volleyball, and more. The cottage also comes with its own private hot tub. Winter: we have excellent skating and snowshoeing.

Good,Bad,Ugly

While there were many good points about the property there were also some disappointments. This is a pricy rental but some amenities were lacking such as the outdoor furniture. The old well used metal chairs/ love seat have seen better days. There was only one moveable chair to be able to sit on the dock. Many window screens had holes or were poorly patched. The deck walk out door was hard to open and had ripped screens. The single door from the 3 season room had a broken threshold that was taped with duct tape! The eaves trough by the front door was clogged and water poured over the side at the entrance. One dining room chair was structurally broken and unsafe. We were given a tiny bit of dishwashing liquid. Coffee filters were the wrong type for the coffee maker. The quality of bedding was underwhelming. Overall not what you expect for this amount of money

Great Family Stay

This property was amazing for our family. We had two little ones under two who enjoyed the sandy beach that had a gentle walk out. There were many areas to play! We made a jaunt out to the Hugli's blueberry ranch in Pembroke which was so fun! The adults enjoyed the hot tub and the multitude of recreational activities available like the SUPS and kayaks. The house was very functional and lovely to spend time in.

Don't hesitate.

The 'cottage' is incredible. Very well thought out. Well equipped and very clean. The grounds are amazing for cottage games. The on site kayaks, paddleboards, and paddle boat were great. The water is a slow steady slope on beautiful sand. You are on a private bay which feels like a lake, yet you have access to the Ottawa River. Already booking for next year!

Excellent Valley Rental

This cottage has a great location. It has luxury and convenience. So much for us to do. Great area to keep boats. Super water front location.

Great place for family and kids

Wonderfull place and really had good time with family and friends The property is very clean and well maintained with all great fun things to do. Water front was great and kids enjoyed the time on the sand
