Looking for a quiet, spacious place away from beach crowds, with plenty of privacy? You've found it here! Private beach and dock on almost 3 acres, for a private, scenic, and relaxing vacation on beautiful Narragansett Bay!

Returning to rental availability starting summer of 2020 following renovations and updating, this property features four bedrooms with total sleeping capacity for ten, a fully equipped kitchen with double oven, and 2700 square feet of living space renovated to the highest standards. Outside, you'll find three acres of space including a sand/pebble/shell beach, 75 ft stone/concrete dock with available fresh water and power, boat ramp, spacious lawn with large shady trees, large grass field perfect for outdoor games, outdoor stone fireplace, and three decks (one covered) to enjoy the sights and catch the cool bay breeze. Complimentary water toys include kayak, rowboat, windsurfer, fishing poles, life jackets, and snorkeling gear. With the tourist attractions of Newport, Jamestown, and Narragansett nearby, this is an ideal base for your Rhode Island vacation!

Inside, the spacious kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and attractive cherry cabinets. Convenient appliances include refrigerator/freezer with ice/water dispenser, a double oven with warming drawer, ceramic glass cook top, dishwasher, microwave, hot water dispenser, coffee maker, standalone ice maker, and professional frozen drink machine. The expandable dining table seats eight. The air conditioned living room features a fireplace and hideaway stereo with mp3/iPod input and BlueTooth speakers to play your favorite music. Also included for our guests are a second refrigerator/freezer, washer and dryer, seafood boiler, and stainless steel propane grill. Exterior security cameras are used to protect guests and property.

Upstairs, you’ll find four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite features queen bed, double built-in dressers, double closets, two-person jetted tub, double shower, and air conditioning. Two additional bedrooms have queen beds, and one bedroom has two twin beds. With the two available rollaways, total sleeping capacity is ten people. All bedrooms feature full closets, and two bedrooms feature full size dressers. All upstairs bathrooms feature full tubs, showers, and stone counters.

Asa’s home was perfect for our family vacation of 4 (including our dog), but can accommodate many more - The view was so delightful (amazing) that it was difficult to leave each day to explore Newport and the surrounding area. Check-in was a breeze as Asa met us upon arrival to explain everything about the house. The house was lovely and comfortable. It was well-stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Getting to Newport was very easy as the house is close to the Jamestown Bridge. Narragansett is just a short drive away. We also enjoyed visiting the birthplace of Gilbert Stuart, the famous portrait artist. Much to do in the area but we really enjoyed just relaxing at this lovely home. We would not hesitate to recommend Asa’s getaway and we look forward to returning!

Great family gathering in Narragansett

Regarding the double oven, we did check it out and it is working properly, however it is an older design, and it has some operational peculiarities. We will be explaining this better in our guest guide, and also leaving a copy of the operator's manual for our guests. Regarding locking the back french doors, since these Andersen doors don't have a keylock, there is a slightly different procedure for this. I understand part of your group saw this during the walkthrough, but you were separated from the group and may not have seen it. We will be adding this to our walkthrough guide which we leave with all our guests, so no in-person demonstration will be necessary. Thank You, Asa Davis Owner

Super Memorial Day Weekend family reunion

Amazing treasure on Narragansett Bay

This house was amazing!! The views of the bay and the two bridges were stunning, especially at night. Swimming and boating our right outside your back door. The house is gorgeous and filled with everything you need. The host is very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this property.

Fabulous!

Lovely property, prime location

Asa was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house and grounds, both meticulously maintained. The first floor is open and provides plenty of room for cooking, dining and lounging, even for a larger group than ours. The large property, private beach and dock afford privacy and an amazing view. My husband, son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay--wish we could have had a few more days!

Amazing place

Loved this beautiful property which accommodated us and our two young adult children and their friends. Loved the various parts of the house and grounds that gave everyone something to do. Such a beautiful setting for making special family memories! Couldn’t ask for much more- Asa gave us a great orientation to how everything worked and we didn’t need anything while we were there but I think he would have been available for any questions. Highly recommend this wonderful property!

We purchased this property in 1999. We were looking for property on Narragansett Bay with a beach and boat dock for family vacations where we could enjoy privacy, peace and quiet. This fit the bill perfectly!

The beach and water access first, spectacular views, the large lawn and shaded areas just back from the beach, the protected location, strong, sturdy construction with fine details, and plenty of space for the family and activities both inside and out!
