Spacious, with a decent array of kitchen supplies. Everyone enjoyed the space. The only negative I can think of was there wasn’t a very big yard, though it was very nice and quiet outside.

The house is a huge log cabin which is perfect for the setting on top of the mountain. It is dog-friendly & incredibly clean & spacious..plenty of room for our family to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub while overlooking the valley and coffee on the big deck. We even found time to have a fire in the fire pit. I can imagine how gorgeous that view is in the fall. The house is completely stocked with everything you need...and even has a guns-n-roses pinball machine in the game room! Minutes away from I-81 so easy to get to ski resorts, biking & white water rafting. Matt was the perfect host with quick responses to any questions I had. You will not be disappointed in choosing this place.

Sugarloaf Summit is everything and more as described in the property description! Peaceful getaway with incredible views. Large log cabin well maintained and spotless. Beds are comfortable. Linens and towels provided. Pinball machine was a big hit! Grandchildren enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching TV under the stars. Host Matt was easily reached and one of the best hosts since I have been choosing rentals thru VRBO. I would give Matt 10 stars if I could!

What an absolute stellar getaway with the kids for thanksgiving. We felt like we were on top of the world, over looking a small town in the valley from our summit. Great location, attention to detail in the home was really nice. The home was very well equipped with cookware in the beautiful kitchen. We cooked thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed. The homeowner was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. We will be revisiting this home again 100%. Thanks for everything Matt.

Truly a majestic setting with amazing views. Home thoughtfully located and designed to capture the views from inside while too enjoying the afternoon sun. Exceptionally clean throughout, well appointed kitchen with elegant dishes and glassware, sizeable bedrooms, great loft and lower level room to provide privacy for many and lots of hot water for all! Picturesque Views - Peaceful and Restorative

The pictures on the listing site do not give it justice. Beautiful views of town below. There were a bunch of us with three generations of family represented. When we were all traveling to the house, my niece arrived first with her father and she said to me on the phone, "... of all the vacation homes we have been to this is the BEST!" OTHER QUOTES FROM THE TEN YEAR OLD: "The balcony view was AMAZING and one of the best parts of the house." "The hot tub was great!" "Nintendo - yes!" "Fire pit was wonderful." "The woods were great, found some new species of ghost mushrooms." "Lots of climbing and walks in the woods." "Great for a lot of different kinds of people with lots of room." "Don't forget to say an awesome place for pets." (we brought her cat) The central floor is open concept and large enough for games, cooking, tv, plus views from the balcony all at once. Separated bedrooms/bathrooms provided amble privacy. Personally I could not get enough of the view. Overlooking the mountains with the town tucked into the valley below including several farms, a church with graveyard, town hall, school, lots of charming houses, gas station, ice cream parlor, grocery stores, etc. The owner, Matt, was helpful throughout the trip with the few questions I had for him. He also went above and beyond after we checked out by helping to mail back a left-behind item. A wonderful overall experience and I highly recommend this house as well as Matt the owner. Perfection!

A great experience in sugarloaf

Fantastic property, nicely updated and modern. Plenty of things to do around along with great options for food all being within a few minute drive. I can’t wait and already booked another weekend to go back and hit the ski slopes.

Quiet weekend with a stunning view

Sugarloaf Summit was exactly what we needed for a peaceful weekend retreat. Loved waking up to fresh mountain air and drinking our coffee while over looking the valley. The view is the crown jewel of this place, it didn’t disappoint. Our toddler loved playing outside in the yard and on the deck. House is nicely updated, kitchen is well stocked and is close to some great restaurants. Far enough off the beaten path to be very quiet and still has that cozy cabin feel. We will certainly be booking another stay soon!
