Peregrine Point Condo Steps to Lifts - Amazing Views

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath single level condo (Unit 204) is located at Peregrine Point which is the newest building at Purgatory Resort. The condo is located on the north side of the building offering amazing mountain views.

Walk across to the main plaza for convenient access to restaurants, ski rentals, deli and great shops as well as the primary high-speed lift, Purgatory Express, to the top of the mountain.

The condo is decorated with high-end furnishings and the kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops and complete cooking utensils for making great meals. The main living space features a gas fireplace, TV and a deck enjoy the amazing views.

The condo also features a washer and dryer. Parking is unassigned outside in front of the building.

As with all condos in the Peregrine Point building per HOA Rules, pets are not allowed.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

The apartment is beautiful and well furnished. The view is stunning and the location is very convenient. A few suggestions:- The family room tv and fire place didn’t work. Possibly an electric issue? - There is a spot on the rug in the family room that is coming up and I stepped on a nail. - The bathroom towels and mats are very old. They work, but it would be nice to have newer towels. - I would recommend that there is a laminated sheet with instructions, (such as where the facilities are, suggestions for activities and information regarding the condo. It would be very helpful.

Thank you for bringing a few things to our attention including the spot on the rug with the nail, we have sent a technician out to remove any hazzards associated with that space. We have placed an order for fresh towels, and bathroom mats for the unit and can certainly supply laminated instructions in the family room for ease of access. Lastly, we regret that the fireplace and family room TV were giving you troubel during your stay! Nice place to stay with an excellent location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The Views......Wonderful, especially in the morning with a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll. The unit is well stocked with utensils, plate and some spices. if you plan on leftovers being some containers. As mentioned by another reviewer the place can get warm (80-82 degrees, and our stay was in July) we used the fans and they cooled the place down, about 5 degrees in the Afternoon, and cooler in the evening, but the fans are loud. As the Host mentioned in another review, there is no A/C for any of the units. A note to the host, the place needs a little TLC with regards to where the carpet meets the dining area occasionally, we would catch a carpet nail because of the wear.We were very happy with the unit and will return for another stay.Thank you

Positives: Location is nice & view from the balcony is awesome. Whoever cleans the unit does a great job. Not positive: Issues in previous reviews haven’t been addressed. The carpet has stains & rips. Electrical outlet for the TV in living room doesn’t work. Pots & pans need to be replaced. On arrival, main issues were that one toilet didn’t flush all the way & the hot water ran out before our family of 5 could take quick showers. I messaged in the app & they responded the next morning that maintenance would come by & check. At that point I told them that despite opening windows & running fans we had spent the night with temps in the mid 80’s. We knew the unit didn’t have AC & even brought extra fans, but the temp wouldn’t drop. Maintenance came by while we were out & fixed the toilet & increased the hot water. They checked about the hot temp & spoke to other units who also complained & discovered the building was blowing hot air through the vents even though our thermostat was off. They were able to get the hot air turned off. After given the update I requested a partial refund for the miserable night we had & was told no because the unit is advertised as not having AC. I pointed out that it wasn’t advertised to blow hot air all night & only received a generic response that it’s listed to not have AC & that other current renters hadn’t complained which isn’t true by their own update from maintenance. The area is great, but this issue should have been handled better.

Great location & views

Very comfortable, convenient with good views. Kitchen could be better outfitted it you intend to cook, e.g. no mixing bowls or salad bowl and need several bigger pans.

Convenient to slopes and comfortable

We would definitely rent this property again. It was clean and a short walk to the ski lifts. I stayed with my family of 6. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was stocked well. The view was beautiful. Easy check in and check out.

Gorgeous views and great condo

I stayed here with my husband and son and really enjoyed it. It snowed all weekend and the condo has fantastic views of the mountains from every room, while still convenient to the lifts. The gas fireplace in the living room and master bedroom added the perfect ambiance. The condo is comfortable and well furnished, and the kitchen is reasonably equipped. The covered parking is large enough to fit even our large truck. I would happily stay here again.

Wish we had a bit more powder, but had a great time just the same and the deep tub was great after a long day of skiing. Overall A+

Awesome Mountain View

It was in walking distance of Twila lake, and we enjoyed the paddle boarding there. The furniture was comfortable as were the beds. The condo had everything we needed, except for it was a little warm in the month of August. But the management company was super helpful, very responsive and even dropped off two extra fans to help keep us comfortable. overall, I was pleased with the condo and its location and we had a great trip.

Wonderful Fall Stay!

The unit has plenty of room and the view from the balcony of the mountains is pretty spectacular! The master bath has 2 sinks which is always great for couples. The unit was clean and very well stocked. 30 minutes from Durango and about 25 minute awesome drive to Silverton. Overall a great stay and no complaints. Communication with VRC was the best we have ever experienced in a rental company!

Great location and amazing views

We decided to take a last minute ski trip and picked this condo for its location. I’m so glad that we did! Steps away from the lifts made it easy and convenient! The views out the balcony were beautiful, especially at sunset. The condo could use some minimal updates in regards to bed and bath linens, kitchen items (we cooked in every meal, a mixing bowl and coffee mugs with unbroken handles would be great!), and a working tv remote/ability to access Hulu, YouTube TV, etc. We will definitely be back and appreciated our time here.

Beautiful Condo in the mountains

Luxury condo in a great location to ski or mountain bike in Purgatory. Condo is very comfortable but doesn’t have A/C. They do have many fans to cool the place down in the summer. Great view of the lake but bedrooms face the highway and there’s construction across the highway which makes it a bit noisy. We’re beginner mountain bikers and couldn’t find suitable trails for us. They told us even the greens are too challenging and are not for everyone so we ended up not really biking. We visited Durango, Ouray, and Mesa Verde National Park. The place was central for all these destinations.

Family trip

We enjoyed our stay at Purgatory resort. The accommodations were great. The view from the balcony was breathtaking!! It was nice having so may activities to do at the resort.

Amazing!!!

Everything was great! Room was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. But the view…. Oh my goodness, breath taking!

Awesome View

We could reach out and almost touch the mountains!!! Property is comfortable and relaxing. Enjoyed a pizza from the Old School House!!! Wonderful rest that was much needed. Would stay here again.
