Peregrine Point Condo by Main Plaza - Walk to Slopes

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath single level condo is located in Peregrine Point (Unit 205) which is the newest building at Purgatory Resort.

The Peregrine Point building is adjacent to the main plaza (1 minute walk) for convenient access to restaurants, ski rentals, deli and great shops as well as the primary high-speed lift, Purgatory Express, to the top of the mountain.

The kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful granite counter tops and complete cooking utensils for great meals. The main living space features a deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air and view of the slopes!

There is also a washer and dryer in the unit and parking is unassigned outside in front of the building.

Bed Configuration:
Master - King
2nd - Bunk Bed (Single over single) and Trundle bed (single over single)

As with all condos in the Peregrine Point building per HOA Rules, pets are not allowed.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

The property is wonderful, it is in great . The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, pots, pans. The location is unbeatable!!! Short walk to the lifts.

Great Location for skiing

My husband and I stayed here with our 15 year old and 2 of her friends for a ski weekend in January. You couldn’t ask for a better location, amazingly easy to check in and out. The condo was set up great for a family. We loved the easy access to the slopes, clean condo and easy renting. Would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break Family Ski Vacation

Our stay at Peregrine Pass was wonderful. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. We had everything we needed in the condo and there was plenty of space. The condo was clean and well appointed. The location is perfect! The stairs to the base were right outside our parking lot. We added the additional resort access to our stay for Purgatory Lodge and that was nice, kids used the hot tub and it was a great spot to meet after skiing. We got major snow the night before and morning we were leaving so we were a bit late getting out but someone from the management company arrived to plow out the parking lot and we were able to leave. We’d definitely book again.

Great location

This property was great! Great location, it was only a couple hundred yards to the lifts with two flights of stairs. We have 3 kids ranging from 6-13 years old and we were able to make it each day without tears. Property was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Only negatives which are not the owners fault were the snowplow was beeping outside our window for several hours every night between 2-6am and the neighbors below had a dog that barked a lot around the same time so we didn’t get much sleep but the kiddos slept fine. Parking is limited but the secondary lot is close, just time when you leave after 4pm so there are spots when you get back. There is not a close grocery store so get groceries on the way.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great overall experience. The location was excellent. The floorplan was excellent. The unit was modern and very nice. The dishes were dirty (probably due to the dishwasher). The vent fan in the spare bathroom trips the breaker every time you turn it on. The snow plow did not blow out parking lot until after 4:00 p.m. so we were held hostage by the deep snow. This aspect was the biggest complaint. It was an unacceptable situation. We had to dig our van out by hand so we could leave.

We're glad you had a great stay! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have an electrician repairing the vent fan so thank you for making us aware of that issue. We did have a big snow storm move through the entire area and the plow drivers have a lot of area to cover, especially at Purgatory Resort. There has also been a shortage of plow drivers in the Durango area so we apologize you had to dig your van out in order to leave since they couldn't make it to your area until later. We hope you were able to enjoy the snow too, that's a big reason people come visit in the winter. Other than that, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay! It was such a pleasure to host you and we hope you come stay with us again soon.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Parking was unacceptable. Parking should be allowed in the garage during the winter as the parking lot had several feet of snow, cars being stuck, walkways not cleared adequately. The unit is in need of updating. Furnishings and appliances are old and worn. The cleaning service was minimal- 1 bar of soap for 2 bathrooms, 1 roll of paper towels for an 11 night stay. Shower was not clean. There is a gas grill on the deck which was an upside. Would not recommend Peregrine unless parking is changed. Have stayed in this building a few times before and this was not up to usual standards.

Thank you for your recent stay at Peregrine and for taking the time to leave your feedback. We apologize for the issues you experienced with parking during your stay. Unfortunately, due to heavy snowfall during the dates you stayed, it can take some time for the resort to clear the lots and walkways. It is something we deal with at a ski resort but we are always happy for the snow so we hope you were able to enjoy it too. We will address the issue with the cleaning service to ensure that future guests receive the necessary amenities for their stay. We do state in our property instructions we supply a starter pack of supplies and ask guests to purchase more after that. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Great condo

This condo was perfect for my family of five. It is situated about 30 minutes from Durango. We drove in and out of town quite a bit but enjoyed being away from town. We were concerned about not having AC, but the unit stayed nice and cool when the windows were open. Would definitely recommend.
