La Casista

Overview

Treat yourself to a relaxing vacation in Orlando with a stay at this gorgeous town house La Casista Four bedrooms, all with TVs and Wi-Fi access and three luxury bathrooms can easily accommodate nine guests, providing plenty of space for everyone to have spread out and had fun.

Lower Floor

At La Casista you are greeted with an open planned living/kitchen area for all the family to gather. The teal accents of colour really gives it that pop! A crisp white leather wrap around couch, this living area is big enough for all to sit and recoup after a long day at the theme parks. The chef of the family can get the snacks ready in the state of the art kitchen, keep them company by sitting on the breakfast bar that seats four people. The kitchen has up to the minute appliances; wine and dine at the bespoke glass six seater dining table fit with white float effect chairs. This lower floor has a king bedroom, suitable for guests who would struggle with stairs or just like to be closest to the pool! Opposite is a family bathroom with a shower.

Upper Floor

Upstairs, you have yourself one king bed with an ensuite, one queen bed, one double bed and one twin bed. The family bathroom is just across the hall, complete with a large shower. On this floor there is also the washing machine and dryer. Every room is accompanied with its own flat screen TV too.

Outside Living Space

Take a dip in the splash pool! either after a day relaxing at home or to cool off after a long day at the parks. Escape reality in a book whilst laying on the comfortable sun loungers chairs, wine and dine on the outside dining area for some alfresco.

Story Lake Resort

One of the region’s newest destinations, the beautiful Storey Lake Resort is filled with amenities for the whole family. Compete against each other, or other guests, on one of the many sports courts or through a round of mini-golf. Entertain the kids at the playground and then cool off at the splash park, while floating along the lazy river, or playing in the resort-style swimming pool. Enjoy the diverse amenities of the clubhouse which features a fitness center, business center, spa and Tiki bar. As the name suggests, this resort also features its own lake on which guests can enjoy via a fishing dock and the canoe/kayak launch.

The property was even better than I expected. It was clean and updated. The Waterpark included was excellent. We stayed a complete day at it. It was well maintained and supervised to keep all safe and happy. We rented a cabana to get out of sun when needed. My favorite VRBO I've stayed at thus far.

Great location and comfortable beds. We had everything we needed, we spent most of our time at the parks so we didn’t use the pool or other amenities. I only had a few questions and communication was quick and easy.

Location was great for the parks. Paid for pool to be heated and it was but still chilly in the afternoons when the sun was blocked by the building. Beds were comfortable but VERY loud when entering and exiting. I think the frames made the noise. Grill was great but no cleaning brushes. We put grate in dishwasher to wash.

You’re absolutely right about the pool temperature: even when heated, cooler weather and shade can affect how warm it feels, especially in the afternoons. The note about the bed frames is very helpful — we’ll have maintenance look into that to reduce the noise. And good catch on the grill brush as well; we’ll make sure one is added so future guests don’t have to improvise (points for creativity with the dishwasher, though). Nice, huge family house and heated pool!

My 3 little kids loved this house and pool. It was very clean and the pool was nice and warm for them. Game machine is a fun added bonus. House is located close to everything. We enjoyed close travel to Disney while there. Extras like lazy river and resort pools added bonuses too. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Great location!

The property was just as described and work great for our group! The property was close to the parks which made it less stressful after a long day at the parks. Plus the kids love swimming in the pool!

Upon arrival the gate doesn’t open, backed up cars, people honking yelling at each other(did not change for the 10 days we were there) door lock batteries to get in the house were about dead, there was obviously a flood in the house because it smelt funny and the trim on the stairs had mold, major dips in the flooring upstairs when walking. Water coming from the ceiling in a couple spots , light in the upstairs bedroom didn’t work. The tub showers are extremely squeaky so take your showers when no one is sleeping, paper thin walls you can hear neighboring conversations .

We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to address some of the concerns you’ve raised. First, we’d like to clarify a few points. Regarding the gate and resort traffic, we understand that access can sometimes be challenging, especially during busy times.We provide all guests with QR Codes to access the resort. If you had encountered any specific issues with the gate, we would have been happy to assist you had we been notified during your stay. The door lock issue was not related to battery failure, but rather physical damage to the lock mechanism. Once we were made aware of the issue, we addressed it within two hours to ensure you could continue accessing the home without any further trouble. As for the claims of water damage and mold, we can confidently assure you that there has been no flooding in the home. Our property is regularly maintained and inspected, and there are no issues with mold in the trim or elsewhere in the house. Any smells or moisture you experienced may have been due to normal humidity, which is common in Florida. We also wanted to mention that the flooring upstairs and the ceiling are both in excellent condition. If you encountered any issues with dips in the floor or water spots, we would have appreciated the opportunity to investigate and resolve them while you were still staying with us. The light in the upstairs bedroom and the squeaky tub have both been addressed since your departure, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these caused during your time at the property. Regarding the noise from neighboring units, we encourage all guests to reach out if they experience disturbances, as we aim to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of any noise issues, but had you contacted us, we would have gladly assisted. Beautiful

Couldn't ask for a better location. So close to Disney, but far enough away to feel removed enough after a long day at the parks. We will 100% be back!!

Great place

Great house and very clean. Within 20 min from all Disney parks. Lots of space and the pool was a plus. Had a small issue with the AC but the owner had a timely response.

Great Stay, we would return.

The place was very convenient to the Disney parks. The grounds were very nice and the pool area was well kept and relaxing. We would stay again. Just keep in mind that the back gate scanning device had such a hard time scanning the QR code to get in and we saw a lot of other people experience the same thing. But this was in no way a game changer: minor inconvenience. Host was very responsive. The unit itself was large, clean, and very nice.
