The house was very clean,the host was most accommodating they answered all our questions immediately, even stopped by to make sure we that we found everything ..The cabin has a great deck attached to the screened room which is very nice to relax. Nice view too!The pier accommodated our 20ft fishing boat with a plug to charge our electronics , All good

Beautiful views over looking catfish lake in Eagle River. The cabin is cozy and has a nice kitchen and two living areas. Loved how fully stocked the home was with plenty of towels, utensils, appliances, the bathroom toiletries, etc. We have a French press coffee maker at home and was happy to see Scott had one at the cabin we were able to enjoy coffee overlooking the lake every morning. We enjoyed days out on the town and evenings in with wine. There is a large amount of board games you can play as well, and a tv in every room. Very peaceful and we even saw a big Bald Eagle one of the mornings hanging out on a tree out of our window. I had my newborn with us and we were very comfortable with her there. We had an amazing peaceful stay and great day musky fishing.

Wonderful spot with wonderful hosts

The cabin is full of Up North charm and was well-appointed for all of our needs. The lake view is fabulous and we all loved the screened-in porch. We really enjoyed swimming and kayaking. Our hosts were great at answering our questions ahead of time and we all felt welcomed and comfortable. It is quiet and peaceful...a lovely retreat!

Can I give 6 Stars??

This property and its hosts exceeded all our expectations! Having owned a small business for 33 years, we can always tell when the owners have their hearts and souls in it. There is a level of caring here that is far beyond what we seasoned vacation rental clients have ever experienced at other properties. The cottage is incredibly spacious with two living rooms, two back porches (one is screened in), huge kitchen with extra seating at the island. Bedrooms are sized perfectly and furnished with soooo very comfy mattresses, pillows and bedding. The bathroom was well-stocked with fluffy towels. Speaking of "well-stocked".... Scott and Lori are truly the greatest hosts. They anticipate your every need, are nearby if you need them but don't hover, and give great local advice. Back to the wonderful amenities... in the cottage there is a wood burning stove and plenty of wood in the spacious garage. On the deck there is a fire table to gather 'round, and near the pier, a firepit. The pier is just down the hill and the boat launch a minute away. For fun in the water, there are kayaks and a paddleboat available. I've never cried when leaving the Northwoods, but it was emotional this time. The value we received for our money made it the best investment ever!
