Comfortable, spacious place for family gathering!

This place was awesome! Lots of sleeping spots, excellent space for playing board and electronic games and spacious backyard with many glimpses birds and small mammals (squirrels, and bunnies). We also loved that it was close to Purdue, Celery Bog Nature Area and Happy Hollow trail!

Wonderful stay!

We stayed at Jodi’s property for a weekend birthday celebration for my brother, and it was wonderful! The house and backyard areas were perfect for our party of 10 to relax and hang out without feeling like we were on top of each other. The house was super well kept, clean, and Jodi made it extremely easy to prepare everything for check out and make it as smooth as possible. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend both the property and Jodi! 😊

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from Purdue. It was clean and in a great location. Communication was great and check in and out were easy! We also loved the cinnamon bread left for us :-) We would rent the house again!

Great place for a Purdue visit!

This was a perfect place for our group of 7 Purdue alum to get back to campus and take in a basketball game. The place was very clean with all the amenities you could want. A very short ride to campus and town. Would definitely stay here again (ideally when it is warmer and without snow to take advantage of the nice deck and pergola)!

Great location for what we were in town for (Golf).

Everything was great. The only thing needed was instructions as to which remote to use and how to access the local channels. We needed more than the national news channels.

Milton, Thank you for your suggestion. Most of our guests connect into their devices and smart cast to the TV. We appreciate knowing instructions are needed for the controllers and will get that done. Thank you for taking good care of the Home during your stay! Come again.

2nd year in a row- another perfect stay

This is the 2nd year in a row a group of us have come to town for a reunion and to catch a Purdue men’s basketball game. Jodi’s place was the perfect size for our group of 10- very comfortable and full of amenities. Very close to campus and West Lafayette amenities too. Jodi is super responsive and helpful too. We hope to be back next year!

Beautiful clean and well organized property. The place had extras that were very helpful. Nice deck with grill, table and chairs that our family took advantage of, beds were comfortable. Nice quite neighborhood with close proximity to essential stores. We loved it. Would definitely recommend 👌

Perfect

I was so pleased with this rental! We had several people staying to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Purdue. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a large meal. The deck was a comfortable place to eat and gather. There were plenty of towels and bedding. Great location to campus and grocery.

Wedding Weekend

Our daughter and her husband’s wedding party stayed two nights at The Gathering Place for wedding weekend! They were greeted with fresh bread and a beautiful place to stay! There was plenty of space for everyone, and they wanted for nothing. Our hostess, Jodi, was a fabulous communicator and was kind enough to allow our party to check in early the day of the rehearsal. This was our first experience with Vrbo, and after such a great experience it won’t be our last!

Wedding weekend stay review

Jodi was great from the very beginning with consistent and clear communication. Everything leading up to our stay was very welcoming and walking into the house to find some cinnamon bread and a sweet note for us was really sweet and considerate since we were celebrating our wedding weekend with close family and friends! I would certainly recommend this spot for large groups. The host was very easy going and flexible, within means, especially compared to many others I’ve encountered. The experience made our special weekend go off without a hitch and I’m very grateful for that!

Annual alumni football get together

Each year a group of Purdue firends gets together for a football game. This place worked out great for the 8 of us. Plenty of room and places to congregate and visit pre and post game. The back deck was perfect. We will return!
