3 blocks walk to the Mayberry Courthouse and Wally's Service Station from the Andy Griffith Show, 7 blocks to downtown Mayberry/Mount Airy. Large front porch with swing and comfortable chairs, 2 BR home- KING AND QUEEN, large kitchen all w/SS full size appliances and kitchen amenities, beautiful new modern decor, new 55" TV, WIFI throughout home, full work desk w/new Lazy boy chair, setup for remote working with all the amenities of home. New paint inside and outside and new decor throughout in Fall 2021. Home just remodeled for Airbnb.

A very welcoming retreat with a fresh scent throughout. You will be surrounded by spiritual quotes and lovely decor. Anthony can guide you to restaurants and activities on your local journey. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and the stay was too short.

We had a very nice stay at the Mayberry Front Porch. It was clean and convenient to downtown Mt. Airy. We enjoyed the extras, like the desk area in the main bedroom and the special recliner in the living room. The kitchen was well-equipped with all we needed. We were busy with activities but it was a nice respite at the end of the day.

Beautiful cottage! It was so clean and comfortable with lots of nice extra touches to make it feel like home away from home! We enjoyed the walk into town to walk down Mayberry’s Memory Lane! The host responded quickly to any questions and sent timely reminders and information. Definitely a 10/10!

This home is convenient to downtown Mount Airy and also drivable to Elkin and Pilot Mountain.There are many shops, restaurants and trails in the area. We enjoyed our visit to Angry Troll Brewing and found a restaurant in Pilot Mountain, Two Chefs, that has an exceptional breakfast.

I work with an architectural and engineering firm and enjoy decorating homes and keeping everything in top shape. I have been renovating and managing rental homes since 1993. I love Mayberry. The people in this town are so nice! I love walking the 0.6 miles to downtown and visiting with folks. Downtown is very historic, one block over from downtown is Market Street more modern with pubs and restaurants. The home being so close to downtown is a major advantage!
