This was the most well stocked VRBO property I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. Coffee, snacks, wine, coffee, root beer floats, condiments, and coffee. The hosts were great, the house was very clean, everything was well labeled, the hot tub was great, the neighborhood was quiet. We would be only too happy to stay here again.

Place was beautiful and close to hiking trails. The house was super clean and the lavender field was gorgeous. Checking in and out was super easy as well. The house also offers fresh herbs for cooking in the greenhouse. The hot tub was also extremely nice. We will be coming back in the future and I highly recommend this place.

Four years ago, our family resettled from Anchorage, Alaska and Renton, Washington to bring our beloved mother home from memory care. In searching for a place that mirrored Alaska’s quiet strength and natural beauty, we found ourselves drawn to this special pocket of Sequim.
Here, we have created a haven that nurtures peace, comfort, and connection—a space that supports our family and invites others to feel at home. Hosting guests from around the world has always been a dream of ours, and we are deeply grateful this property allows us to share our corner of the Pacific Northwest with travelers from all walks of life.
We come from a background rich in diversity and have a deep appreciation for every unique story and culture. That spirit shows up throughout the retreat—from the expanded gardens, and fruit trees to the lavender fields. Our pet chickens and ducks roam freely, offering a charming glimpse of life at the retreat, and our 43-year-old McCaw, Sebastian, may greet you with laughter or conversation—he’s especially fond of children and ladies!
This is more than a place to stay—it is a labor of love, created with intention and care. We feel blessed to welcome you to our peaceful sanctuary and honored to be part of your journey.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

When we searched for a new home to bring our mother back from memory care, we wanted a place that offered the peaceful feeling of Alaska, yet was close to the conveniences and community activities that nurture family life. This little corner of Sequim instantly felt right—quiet, safe, and beautifully situated between majestic nature and the comforts of town.
Our property sits on a fully fenced one-acre lot, offering privacy and space while remaining just minutes from everything. Whether you are heading to Olympic National Park, exploring local shops, or strolling through Port Angeles, almost every attraction is within 5 to 20 minutes. The proximity gives us the best of both worlds: tranquility at home, adventure around the corner.
We also fell in love with the neighborhood’s welcoming spirit and natural beauty—it inspired us to expand the gardens, plant even more trees, and create pathways full of native plants and fruit trees. It is not just a place to stay—it is a place to breathe.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Wise Old Owl Retreat offers guests something rare: a peaceful haven nestled in nature with fast, easy access to every corner of the Olympic Peninsula. The one-acre property is fully fenced for privacy and security, yet centrally located—putting nearly every shop, service, trailhead, and coastal town within 5 to 20 minutes.
But what truly sets this retreat apart is the warm, welcoming energy poured into every detail:
• A garden sanctuary with native plants, fruit trees, and a lavender field.
• A children’s playroom thoughtfully stocked for safe, carefree play
• Fresh eggs, seasonal fruit, snacks, and touches like Philosophy Beauty products, extra toiletries, and even fixings for root beer floats
This home was lovingly created to care for family and guests alike—with heart, comfort, and connection at the core. It is not just a place to stay… it's a place to breathe.
