Located on Mermaid Dr in the Southside Section of Ocean Lakes, this raised house is sure to become a family favorite.

Items to Note:

This rental does not include a golf cart. Carts are available for rent onsite through Ocean Lakes Golf Cars.

Bed, bath and kitchen linens are included in the cleaning fee.

Ocean Lakes charges $12.00 per day, per vehicle. This is non-negotiable and payable directly to Ocean Lakes (instructions will be provided on completing this process).

There is parking for 3 vehicles at this site. All other vehicles will need to be parked in the onsite overflow lot (daily fee still applies).

All renters are required to purchase a Security Deposit Waiver in lieu of a refundable damage deposit.

Great stay for my family over the Labor Day weekend. Straight shot to the ocean and in a relaxing area. The porch was spacious for us to enjoy eating outside while the littles played. Had to clean the floors upon arrival, but everything else was intact.

Great Stay

House and stay were nice. Great proximity to the beach. Short walk and even shorter drive to "S" beach access which was great. Calmer area of the campground so it was nice for reading on the porch. I would stay again, however, I would recommend a new cleaning company before I did. You could tell upon arrival the floor hadn't been swept and the bathrooms needed a one over before use as well. I understand bugs at the beach are normal but the amount of palmetto bugs sent my teenagers in a frenzy. Especially the ones crawling on the ceiling. There was also matted hair on the living room table so you could tell nothing was dusted as well. Nothing we couldn't get over but just a recommendation.

Needs a lot of attention

We have been coming to Ocean Lakes for the past 7-8 years and I’ve never been more dissatisfied with a rental than this. The location is not bad and the host was responsive to my messages which were the only two positives. The first night we arrived, I could not get any of the tvs

This place was exactly what we wanted and needed. TVs everywhere, grill down stairs, and all reasonable priced! Will definitely stay here again!!!

Quick get away to a familiar spot

We stay at ocean lakes multiple times a year. For over 20 years we stayed in a camper and the last 7 in various houses all rented through ocean lakes properties. We often travel last minute and there were no a available homes through OL so I went to VRBO. It was somewhat misleading b/c of the added fees. I paid them none the less. We didnt get there until probably 9:30pm ready to settle in. There were no sheets or towels. We called and after a while…. Received a message. Turned out they had been left downstairs in a chair exposed to rain. For 6 People so specified on my reservation we had 4 flat sheets, 3 towels, 2 hand towels and 3 wash rags. The floor was sticky like a fraternity house. There were dishes in the unattached dishwasher that fell down when the drawers pulled open leaving behind the remains of another’s vacations along with my female responsibilities of putting away someone else’s dishes. I needed to use the bathroom So bad so I went only to find the maids could, In the words of Elaine from Seinfeld not spare a square. Not a single square. There were zero garbage bags and one lone dishwasher pod. The tattered and peeling pleather chair was covered with an I’ll fitting elastic worn cover that pulled free when you sit. The other wooden ergonomic chair with the white Terry cloth cover was littered with hair. I found the entire house to be somewhat filthy and worn out. When I shook the bed cover a pee stained mattress greeted me. Poor. 3 pillows for 6

Beach Trip

The property was great. The property is located on a quieter part of the campground! The house has tile throughout, great for the sand. Everything functioned and we had no issues. Bathrooms were nice, the vanities are granite topped. The beds were the reason for the 4 star. The beds in both rooms were terrible, I mean terrible.

Good time!

This house was well accommodating. Clean sinks, bathtub and shower. The rug had been vacuumed in the living room but I do not think the floors had been mopped in a long time and the vacuum cleaner was completely full of stuff that had been vacuumed up. Pest control should spray more often as there were palmetto bugs inside the house. The overall experience was great and I would stay here again…..I will just clean the floors when I get there. The only other thing is I would prefer a golf cart included instead of having to rent one. Other than those few things, it was a nice house.

We were very happy with this property during a stay for a high school baseball tournament. The place was well-kept and had everything we needed.
