A Place in the Sun (Site 1184) – Oceanview home just steps from beach access inside Ocean Lakes. Spacious 4BR / 4BA layout with a large master suite and fully equipped kitchen, perfect for families. Enjoy resort amenities including pools, lazy river, water park, and private beach access.

Spacious, Comfortable & Designed for Families

Renovated and thoughtfully designed, this home features a bright, coastal-inspired interior with an open floor plan that allows everyone to spread out while still reconnecting after a day at the beach, pools, or waterpark.

• Large living room with plenty of seating and a new 65” Smart TV
• Open dining area with a large table seating 8, perfect for meals, games, and planning beach days
• Additional counter seating for 4
• Fully equipped kitchen with generous counter space and ample cabinetry, including Keurig & drip coffee makers, toaster, blender, slow cooker, cookware, dishes, glassware, and serving items
• Washer and dryer located in the home for added convenience

• Queen bedroom with access to a full bathroom
• Queen sleeper sofa in the living room

Second Floor
• Spacious king bedroom suite with seating area, large walk-in closet, and private en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and soaking tub. Private access to the second-floor deck with ocean views

Wonderful home in beautiful Ocean Lakes! The home was spotless, beautifully furnished, and very spacious. Walk to the beach in less than a minute, and rent a golf cart to explore Ocean Lakes! Maria is a wonderful host!

The house was perfect for us. It was well stocked with everything we needed. It was big enough for everyone to spread out and not feel cramped. It was just a short walk (2 minutes) to the beach. You could see the ocean from the decks. There were lots of amenities in the resort it was in to enjoy. The owners were easy to work with. We loved our stay.

Amazing host and property

Thank you for your review. To clarify the dish washer and disposal were working when you arrived and broke towards the end of your stay. We replaced the disposal immediately and found corn husks that were attempted to go through. They should have gone in the trash The dish washer we called for service which they came out right after this guest left. Food also found in the dish washer. We are very grateful for reviews both good and especially when a guest brings up something went wrong. Future guests reading can assume these items were broken when you arrived. Being detailed can clarify things for all is very important We always show up right away to resolve all issues for our guests to make sure your vacation goes smoothly. Some like the dish washer is not always in our hands It’s normal to expect guest to use reasonable care and common sense with most items, when it doesn’t happen we are understanding and work through it. We are glad you had a great week otherwise.

Perfect !

The house was exactly like the pictures you could walk to the beach and it had everything we needed . Hosts were very quick to reply and the property manager made sure we had what we needed . I would definitely stay in this house again or another of their properties at Oceanlakes .

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was in a fantastic location, literally a few houses down from the beach! House was very clean and large enough to accommodate 9 people, both adults and children. Also had everything you would need, whether for cooking and cleaning. Maria was very easy to get a hold of if we needed anything and also checked in to see how our stay was going. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Beautiful home steps from the beach!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time staying at this home during our visit to the Myrtle beach area! The home is beautifully decorated, with lots of space including 4 full bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to prep meals for a large family or group. The outside wraparound deck with lots of seating was perfect for our family dinners not to mention the beautiful view of the ocean. This house is steps from the beach - another bonus! It was easy to communicate with the property manager who was so accommodating. A great stay at this luxurious home in a great location within the Ocean Lakes resort

Wonderful Ocean Lakes property close to the beach

We stayed for a week in this property, and it was wonderful! We have stayed at several properties at Ocean Lakes, and I think this house is our new favorite. The photos are accurate. The property was well-suited for our family (4 adults + 3 kids). We especially loved the large kitchen. The location is great. It is on the far side of Ocean Lakes near Surfside Beach. It was a quick walk to the beach, and we rented a golf cart from Ocean Lakes to cruise to the pool and other Ocean Lakes amenities. The house was very clean. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and straightforward. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Family Fall Break

We celebrate my father-in-laws birthday at Ocean Lakes every year. We always rent a house and have a wonderful time. Our time here was wonderful. The house was spotless upon arrival and was appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The only complaints that we have are 1) the living room furniture was outdated and didn't accomodate our entire crew, so watching a movie at night was difficult. 2) the lack of comfortable outdoor seating was a shame. 3) we had to buy an eggcrate topper for the downstairs bed. These aren't deal breakers but would have elevated our experience, especially since the house was so nice. It was just odd not to have those things in such a wonderful home. Overall, it was great and communication with the host was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying there.

This is a fabulous Resort with so many amenities. Although my children are raised, I know how much this resort has to offer families all in one place. A great way to save money with all the amenities at your feet. Also a fully equipped kitchen giving you a choice to make a meal for your family or go out to the many local restaurants. The living room offers spacious seating for watching tv, games or go out on the deck and enjoy the summer breeze.

This is a fabulous property, just a short walk to the beach. Nice size rooms, great large open living room and kitchen for the family to enjoy their time together. None of those tight cramped rooms. This home offer lots of space from the moment you drive down the widest street in Ocean Lakes, to pulling in and plenty of parking for 3-4 vehicles, plus space for golf cart and anything else you need. The house is the same, all bedrooms are very spacious. The master suite is a master dream ensuite. with large bathroom and large walk in closet. The bedroom is large enough for a crib. Lots of deck space outside for dinner or sun bathing or just enjoying the sun! You will love this home and its location. Don't wait to Book your next vacation.
