We had a great stay! The place was super clean, spacious, and had everything we needed and more. Ali was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Everything was just perfect…we’d definitely stay here again!

Great central and safe location. Home is quaint and cozy. Some minor updates are needed but it worked well for our visit. Really appreciated the close reserved parking so we always had a spot to park. Host was always in contact and easily accessible if needed.

Check-in was detailed and easy. Communication was smooth.Even though the area is generally a nice neighborhood, that building felt weird and unsafe; maybe it wasn't, but it just felt that way. When we arrived, the smoke odor (whichever was the origin) was strong right when we entered the building and everywhere inside, and we had an encounter with someone who maybe lives there or was just visiting, but we weren't sure if they were smoking. And considering we had kids with us, didn't feel "easy". It was a: "stay inside and you try to forget where you are" feeling. They sent a check-in message with these "comments" right before the time, which was a surprise. The apartment itself is in good condition and clean. However, it is way smaller than you imagine, as the pictures show. Some paint details and boards catch your attention, but they do not really affect your comfort. The main things are the AC unit in the master, which is super noisy and pretty uncomfortable at night, the second bedroom doesn't have an AC and gets hot ir you close the door. The fact that it stated on the details that has a washer and dryer listed, but in reality they're in the common area for all the building neighbors' use (and are coin-operated) was annoying, considering that there's a door on the main room which needs to be closed and secure at every moment, 'cause it opens to the washing room.Overall, it wasn't the worst experience, but we doubt we could repeat it. Maybe it just wasn't for us.

Check in process was great, host communicated well and instructions were clear and concise. The location was great and easily accessible and safe. The overall stay was 5 stars with the exception of bedroom #2. There was no air conditioning or fan so the room was significantly warmer than the rest of the apartment. We purchased a fan and it helped some. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms were spacious and clean and thr bedding was plush.

Chicago Getaway

For a city apartment, the apartment was surprisingly spacious. It was very clean and modern, with most everything we needed to be comfortable. Ali was very responsive. Chicago was unseasonably cold and Ali provided us with space heaters as the landlord had already turned off the central heat. However, one person in my party relies on a walker for stability and balance. It would have been nice to know about the steps required to access the apartment. Also didn’t like it takes 3 keys to access the apartment. Lastly, it would have nice to have extra garbage bags and toilet paper. On the last day we were down to one sliver roll of toilet paper and we had to use all our shopping bags to discard garbage as we were only provided the one bag in the trash can. Otherwise, everything else was great.

I gave a 4 star according to the host’s criteria. Ali is friendly and an efficient host. The property is in a nice location and the parking was a plus. Unfortunately, the pictures are deceiving and most likely taken when it was newly renovated and with good lighting. This is a garden/basement apartment. It is quite dark and dingy because the apartment hasn’t been maintained. The walls are scuffed/dirty, blinds are broken, curtain rods falling off. It is in need of a true cleaning and refresh (Floor of bathtubs rusted, mold in the shower windows). The king bed was comfortable but all the linens were microfiber, some pilling, old and not LUXE. The double beds were ok for the kids. There’s a door in the primary bedroom that leads to the building’s laundry. You can clearly hear people talking. You can hear every step the upstair’s neighbor makes. There was a strong marijuana smell in the hallways. Overall not a comfortable stay for us.

We enjoyed our stay. Ali was prompt and clear with communication. It was a little confusing when arriving but I feel it was due to our late arrival and it was difficult to see due to lighting. Overall the stay was good for a little getaway. Also the tenants in the building were friendly.

Fantastic Staff, Attentive Host, but timing was off

Walked into the unit to find several items were needed/missing: namely a crib and various necessary kitchen items. Host was quick to answer my texts and to connect w/ his staff to purchase and deliver the missing items. The disappointing part was that i could not come into the unit and immediately begin prepping dinner for my family who were due to arrive an hour later. Had to deal with texts/calls to host to get the items we needed, which all took time. Ali was very attentive to my texts/calls and in the end the crib was delivered and set up just minutes before my family arrived. Would stay here again since my concerns were settled, but the first couple of hours were not relaxing. Unit is great to have two bedrooms and 2 baths!

Ali is a terrific host! He responds immediately whenever there is an issue or question.The apartment is perfect. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, parks. Very secure and love the off street parking.I have visited this property 6 times snd it is always great!

A Good Choice

I am overall extremely happy with our stay. The apartment was a great size. It was wonderful to have two bathrooms. The apartment had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Ali, the property manager, was super helpful, super responsive, and made us feel very welcome and listened to. The neighborhood was reasonably quiet, although it is good to note that there is a high school across the street and they warm the buses very early in the morning. This is obviously not in the control of Management, but needed to be noted. I loved the convenience of the neighborhood for food choices, groceries, and also proximity to Downtown Chicago. We often come to Chicago, so I will definitely be staying here again!

Property lived up to the listing. However, the walls were quite banged up. Tub in guest bath was rust stained. Furniture was uncomfortable. TV had no network options except NBC thru Peacock. Host was very cordial. Overall stay was ok for a short stay.

Birthday Getaway

The home was charming and modest. The apartment was very spacious and quiet, which we loved. Check in and check out was a very easy process and all of the home's instructions, including parking, were easy to understand and follow. The host was super responsive and very friendly. Also, the neighborhood is amazing!

Oak Park trip

Property was ok. Needs some paint for a refresh and new window blinds. Building is older and hallway was not real clean. Property requires 3 keys for entry which was unusual and required some jimming the deadbolt. Would like to be closer to downtown Oak Park.
