Moongate Lodge

Moongate Lodge is a 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, private home, that includes a sauna, custom log deck with seasonal views of Whiteface Mountain and two full kitchens. Situated in a quiet neighborhood across from the Whiteface Club and Resort for cross country skiing, golf, dining and more. Quick access to all that Lake Placid has to offer!

This home has a spacious upstairs common area, kitchen with breakfast nook, dining room and a bonus sitting room. The kitchen has granite countertops and updated appliances and a dining room table that can seat up to 10 people. A high efficiency wood stove in the living room will make those chilly night cozy. The bonus sitting room is beautiful in the morning or night and you can close the sliding doors for privacy or work. Off of the spacious living area there is a custom log deck that has a dining table for 4, a Weber grill and a propane fire pit to sit around at the end of the day. The lower levels has a sauna, foosball table, common area with Apple TV, full kitchen and dining.

Bedroom #1 is an ensuite with a King canopy bed, a large closet and smart TV. Bedroom #2 is an ensuite with a Queen canopy bed, large closet and Apple TV. Bedroom #3 has a half bath ensuite with trundle bed with two twin beds and a crib. The downstairs has a full bath and Bedroom #4 has a King bed with large closet and Bedroom #5 has a Double bed and Twin bed.

This lovely vacation rental is positioned within walking distance to the Whiteface Club and Resort for golf, cross country ski trails, and restaurants. It is also close to the Whiteface Lodge which has a beautiful spa and two amazing restaurants. The home is just a short drive from the center of the Olympic Village with world famous ski jumps, bobsledding/luge runs and the speed-skating oval. The Village also has a historic multi-theater building, a public beach at Mirror Lake, several restaurants, public skating rinks, shops and much more! Whiteface Mountain Ski Center and the natural attraction of High Falls Gorge are both only 10-15 minute ride away by driving through the scenic Wilmington notch alongside the Ausable River, which is well known for excellent fly fishing.
