The Hundred Mile Cabin is a private Adirondack retreat set on 2 wooded acres with mountain views - just 1.5 miles from Main Street, Lake Placid. Completely renovated with rustic charm and modern comforts, it’s the perfect base for year-round adventure or quiet unplugged time. We are proud to be a Guest Favorite with 100% 5-Star reviews. 3 bdrm, 2 bath, fire pit, electric fireplace, huge deck, ADK rustic charm w/ modern amenities.
Nestled among birch trees, evergreens, and the Heaven Hill Trails, this peaceful 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin offers true Adirondack seclusion while staying close to everything Lake Placid has to offer.
When you reach the end of the 170' long driveway, you'll notice the home was recently renovated from top to bottom and blends classic Adirondack character with modern amenities. Inside you’ll feel a true Adirondack vibe, with great attention to detail, comfortable gathering spaces, a cozy electric fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances.
Outside, enjoy the Adirondack chairs on the wraparound deck surrounded by a forest of Birch Trees and Tall Pines — perfect for morning coffee, evening meals, or simply soaking in the quiet. We recently created a mini hiking trail in the woods that leads up to the Lincoln Log platform on top of the hill for great mountain views.

Cabin is centrally located in Lake Placid but tucked away so you can relax, enjoy looking at the stars and build a camp fire in their well proportioned fire ring. House has been completely redone so everything is new and the decorations are tastefully done. Kitchen has everything you would want to cook and eat a meal at home. Caretakers live next door and are very friendly. There are two window air conditioners for hot days- we did not need these. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful Lake Placid Stay

Our stay at Hundred Mike Cabin was great. Secluded but close to Lake Placid. Everything we needed was in the cabin. Deer roaming outside each day.

Great Adirondack cabin - spacious, clean, updated appliances, and a wonderful location just minutes from downtown Lake Placid. Private, easy to access, close to many activities, and with a great host experience.

Weekend getaway

The hundred mile cabin was the perfect place for a weekend getaway, both for comfort and convenience. It’s location is perfect for both privacy and easy access to nearby attractions. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and the Cabin was impeccable. We will definitely be returning.

Hundred Mile Cabin

This cabin was all that we were hoping for. Great cabin-like feel and very comfortable. Also, very convenient to Lake Placid and all of its attractions. Warren was really helpful with any questions we had. Super host. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to get back in the future.

Great place and great hosts!

Me and my Friends took a ski trip to White Face and spent the holiday weekend here. The Cabin and property is beautiful and there is simply nothing to complain about. The cabin is only 20 minutes from the mountain and less than 10 minutes from the town of Lake Placid. We accidentally locked ourselves out the one night and Warren answered quickly was very helpful to get us back in. Warren and Kelly are very organized and professional hosts which made the stay even more welcoming and comfortable. We will be definitely booking again!

Updated Cabin on Dead End Road

We have been coming to Keene/Lake Placid for years. When a storm hit our home and we needed to have some work done combined with a birthday weekend we decided to book a last minute trip. Our usual cabins weren't available but we found this one and I'm glad we did! Up a dirt road and a private drive waits a modern, yet rustic feeling cabin. Inside we found all of the amenities we needed while outside we enjoyed the large deck for reading, relaxing and bug watching (our 3 year old's favorite activity at the moment). The window AC unit kept us comfortable even as the temperatures climbed close to 80F one day during our stay. We wish we could return now to the peaceful trees and the slower life that this cabin offered!

Our stay at the cabin was very enjoyable. The cabin was clean, and the setting was beautiful, surrounded by beautiful birch trees. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for morning coffee, and around the fire pit at night (plenty of wood available for use). Easy drive into Lake Placid, only a few minutes away. Very easy access to the cabin (we were there in June). Warren and Kelly were easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! :)

It is very private and secluded but only 1.5 miles from Main St. The property sits on 2 acres and backs up to the Heaven Hill Trails.

The privacy and easy access to Main St lake Placid are very rare. The cabin was built in the 1970's as a hunting retreat. We completely renovated it in 2021 to add all the creature comforts while creating that rustic ADK cabin vibe.
