We’re Lucie and Théo, both raised in the Périgord, a region that has always been part of our story. After years spent working and traveling across France and abroad — including a six-month solo van trip through Australia — we felt the call of home. Our families still live here, and we wanted to create a place that reflects everything we love about the Dordogne: nature, authenticity, and meaningful moments shared together.

When we discovered this old stone barn in our home village, we immediately saw its potential. What was once an agricultural building has been carefully restored and transformed into Villa Luceo Périgord — a spacious yet cozy home designed for families and friends.

We love hosting because it allows us to share this part of France that shaped us. Whether it’s a morning walk in the misty valley, a summer evening by the pool, or a visit to Sarlat’s local market, every stay here is an invitation to slow down and reconnect.

We work with Les Cottages d’Or, a trusted local concierge who takes care of guests from arrival to departure. Their team ensures everything runs smoothly so that your only focus is to enjoy your time here.

Our greatest satisfaction? Hearing that guests felt at home, relaxed, and inspired by the calm rhythm of the Périgord countryside.

Both of us grew up in the Périgord Noir, surrounded by peaceful valleys, ancient stone villages, and the scent of walnut trees in summer. Our families still live nearby, so this project was also a way to stay connected to our roots.

Coly-Saint-Amand, where Villa Luceo Périgord stands, is one of those rare places that seem untouched by time. Life here moves gently — mornings begin with birdsong and evenings often end with the soft light fading over the hills.

Within minutes, you can explore the region’s most iconic landmarks: the Lascaux Caves, Sarlat-la-Canéda, the Vézère River, and countless castles like Beynac or Castelnaud. But what we love most are the small pleasures: a local market in the village square, a swim in the river, or an outdoor dinner under the stars.

The Périgord is a region for all seasons — green and lively in spring, vibrant in summer, golden in autumn, and quiet but beautiful in winter. It offers a balance between nature, culture, and gastronomy that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Villa Luceo Périgord is more than just a holiday home — it’s the story of a return to our roots. Once a rural barn, it has been reborn as a 320 m² family villa that combines the timeless character of Périgord stone with a refined, contemporary design.

The house features five air-conditioned suites, each with a private bathroom, offering comfort and privacy for every guest. The centerpiece is a bright 80 m² great room, where the living area, dining space, and fully equipped kitchen open directly onto the terrace through large glass doors.

Two 20 m² mezzanines add extra charm — one turned into a cozy home cinema, the other into a library and games room for children and adults alike. Outside, a 16-meter heated pool, summer kitchen (plancha, BBQ, sink), pétanque court, and garden lounge invite guests to enjoy the Périgord’s mild climate from spring to autumn.

Every detail was designed for shared moments — preparing meals together, relaxing by the water, or spending time under the trees. The property also includes a laundry room, high-speed Wi-Fi, and private parking for four cars.
