Thoughtfully decorated and beautifully situated on the beachfront in Gulf Shores, Lighthouse 813 offers a setting that's second to none. Enjoy a private balcony, wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico, and a wide variety of resort amenities waiting downstairs.

This air-conditioned condo is decorated in lovely shades of blue and teal that mimic the gulf waters. The living room, the dining space, and the full kitchen are all open to each other, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading outside to the balcony. Additional amenities include free WiFi, a private washer/dryer, and a flatscreen TV in the living room for your evening entertainment.

Lighthouse comes with a host of amenities that include two zero-entry pools, a heated indoor pool, two hot tubs, a fitness center with a sauna, and 635 feet of private beach. You'll be a quarter-mile from Gulf State Park, three-quarters of a mile from the Gulf State Park Pier, and three-quarters of a mile from the Gulf Shores Parkway - the thoroughfare that's home to Waterville USA and dozens of popular restaurants, eateries, ice cream parlors, activities, and attractions.

Served it Purpose

The condo was clean and had super easy access to the beach, which we really appreciated. Lighthouse Condominiums is a great spot for families. Overall, it was an okay stay. That said, the bunk beds were really worn out—mostly springs—and the bunk itself creaked and shook a lot, which made it hard for the kids to sleep. The master bed was also pretty noisy and would creak with even subtle movements. There was noticeable wear and tear throughout the unit. We had a decent time and the condo served it purpose, but probably wouldn’t book this one again.

Great Location but a little run down

Could use some upgrades to the furniture. It was all old and stained and the swivel chairs were tearing up the paint on the wall. The beds were VERY soft and the pillows a little flat. There also was no cooking staples-not even a bottle of oil or salt and pepper! There were plenty of kitchen essentials, but I have never stayed at a unit that had no spices or oil! The views were amazing and the location and condo amenities were great! For the price the unit was good and met our needs.

Great value but need upgrades

The view was pretty

There was all mold by the shower. The jets were dirty. Toilet seat needed to be replaced. The main sliding doors we couldn't use they were so hard to open.

Bad experience

A bad experience with Vacasa. Feel like we deserve some sort of compensation. Condo smelled bad upon arrival, couldn’t open main balcony door, and could only use one side of our sink. All issues were reported and not fixed

Needs repairs.

master bedroom items that need to be fixed. Smoke detector has been taken apart. burn marks on the lamp tables. Tables need to be refinished on the top. Toilet seat is broken away from the toilet. Pipe in the master shower is loose. There is no support and the dry wall around the pipe has been removed. Television in the living room is not hooked up to cable. You can not watch television shows.

Wonderful time

Great stay, room was very nice. The indoor pool was very cold but I called and it was fixed super fast! Outdoor pools are not heated like listing said but we will be back!

So Disappointed

Check in was smooth and the unit was clean, though the furniture was a bit shabby. The biggest issue was that the unit was advertised as beach access, but was not. There was scheduled construction causing the beach to be closed throughout our stay. I understand that the owners aren't in charge of when beach construction occurs, but according to the foreman they were informed of when it would be happening. At a minimum I would expect that they would inform us that the beach would be closed during our stay so that we could book another place. Alas, we received no such warning. When we tried to contact the owners we were met with "we'll look into this and call you" but they never called. My family was forced to pack up the car and drive to public beaches (which are paid parking) to experience any beach at all. We weren't even able to enjoy the balcony since the bulldozers were active starting at 4 am Friday 24 hours continually throughout the weekend. The foremost feature we were looking for was beachfront/beach access, which was unfortunately falsely advertised. Also, I'd recommend that you bring your own toilet paper since the roll provided was literally tissue thin. Maybe if you don't have any issues this place would work fine for you, but don't expect the management to lift a finger if anything goes wrong.

Beautiful Condo, Great Location!

We stayed for a few days with friends. Check in was simple, with an office right on the property. The abundant luggage carts make unloading a breeze. The condo is beautiful, clean and well appointed, with breathtaking views of the beach. There are restaurants within walking distance and three pools, two hot tubs and a gym on the property. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean unit in nice complex

We like the Lighthouse because of the nice pools, beach access, location, fast elevators. This visit we had an issue with our dryer and our contact made sure it was resolved and had great communication with us. The kitchen could be stocked a little better with maybe a pizza pan, skillet? And the toilet seat in the master bedroom seemed to need an adjustment as it swiveled. King beds were very comfy. The kids bunks could use toppers as you can feel the springs. The condo also had some beach chairs/umbrella etc we could have used which is nice. Nice condo with great communication!
