Gulfside Townhomes #7 is a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome. This lovely condo features a queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 twins in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room which is perfect for children or teens.
The kitchen is well appointed with everything needed to fix a tasty dinner including granite countertops and stainless appliances. The downstairs has ceramic tile while the bedrooms, which are both upstairs have carpet. The master bedroom offers a private balcony which is perfect for that morning coffee while watching the waves and pelicans. Off the living area, there is an additional balcony that is gives the opportunity for watching beautiful sunsets while relaxing after a busy day in the sun and sand. Take a dip in the complex pool or just relax in the lounge chairs and work on your tan.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Condo is very spacious and has great water views. AC works very well and there are 2.5 bathrooms which was great for my family. That being said there are 2 large flights of stairs that you don’t really see in the listing so be prepared for that. We also had massive amounts of rain and the down stairs patio door started leaking really bad at the roof, we placed a bucket to catch what we could and reported it to the property manager. Things happen though and it was a crazy amount of rain so I’m sure they will get it repaired. There is also a small handful of repair items that could be fixed just odd ball stuff. Overall this is a great condo just keep the stairs in mind when booking. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to gulf shores.

I actually love the place a lot. The only problem I had was I was charged for parking but I had no car. I flew in and I Uber to the property and I Uber back to the airport so basically I paid for something I did not use and they were informed of such. I have not yet heard back about the validity or principles of that charge when I asked for a refund.

The good:Place appeared to be nice, quiet, clean. Pool looked nice and right next to beach. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of room in whole condo and nice carport for our car right under the condoThe Bad: Remotes for TVs never worked despite trying everything imaginable. towel rack falling off wall in master bath, beds were ok, but not very comfortable especially for my daughters who ended up having to sleep on the foldaway couch.The Ugly: Bedbugs! We only stayed the one night then left because my daughter found bedbugs in her bed. We quickly moved them out of the bedroom. Pest control came the next morning & confirmed there were bedbugs.Overall impression: I dont fault the owners. Bedbugs can happen anywhere that someone brings them in. This was handled well. We were offered a full refund & booked elsewhere for the rest of our stay. The place itself is adorable. Truthfully, it was just what we were looking for aside from the bedbug incident. It did not seem to be a large infestation.....just a few. If the owners get it cleaned up promptly, this will still be a very nice rental.

The master bedroom was our biggest concern. The box spring to the bed could not support anyone. The ceiling in the master bedroom leaked during the heavy rain. The toilet seat to the master bathroom was loose and and there was no stopper for the master bathtub. Overall it was a great decor. Great location adjacent to the beach. Great parking and the facility was adequately supplied with necessary furnishings. Just a little run down. Needing a good refresher and the master bedroom needs The concerns addressed. The spare bedroom bathtub drain was clogged also.

Master bedroom bed needs a new box spring. Master bedroom ceiling leaks during heavy rains. The unit was well furnished, had great decor. Great access to the beach. Great parking. The unit is a little run down and could use a great refresher.

The property location was perfect and just as stated - very close to the beach and easy to get to. The condo itself is getting outdated and needs repairs. The rug in the main living area in the photo is very stained and dirty. The condo was missing items we normally had in other rentals like blankets, hot pads, and salt and pepper shakers. The beds had just a sheet and a light blanket – some of my family was cold, so we used beach towels as additional blankets. Turning the air down made others hot! The information about the stay said you could use tents on the beach in one section, then that they were prohibited in another. We asked the host and were told they were prohibited, and they were sorry for the confusion (although there were several tents in use on the beach when we arrived). It felt like the host did work to make the condo as nice as possible, however our overall impression was that the building is getting old and general updates are not really being completed, including updating needed condo items. We had no issues with our stay and the host was responsive when contacted.

Great location!

Short walk to a great beach location that was not busy when compared to the other locations with high tower condos. Location is best quality of this condo. The inside needs updated as well as the furniture and amenities. It felt like the host did work to make the condo as nice as possible, however our overall impression was that the building is getting old and general updates are not really being completed, including updating needed condo items.

This is in the perfect location, and with the place being on the smaller side the beach is not so crowded. The inside could use a little updating, but you can’t beat the closeness to the pool and beach. We had a great stay, and would come back again!

Great property to stay at.

This was a great property for my family of 4. Great location with private beach access. There is a public beach access close by but beach does not feel overcrowded. The pool area was great. Kids enjoyed using the pool daily. Over all house is clean. Beds were comfortable. Property is within walking distance to some resturaunts. Many steps to get into home and access bedrooms. Would not recommend for anyone who is unable to climb stairs well. We would stay here again.

Same Place, New Unit

Gulfside Townhomes has been our vacation spot for 17 years. This particular unit was new to me and it was great! Very clean and comfortable and the beach view was superb!
