Dalarna, the grand lady of Nordic Villas, has hosted weddings and celebrations, brought families and friends together and made memories for all who've come. With ample room for 30 guests, Dalarna provides charm and elegance and will enchant you with the spacious verandas, and the unhurried pace of the beach house lifestyle. Dalarna has a versatile floor plan with a great room on the beach level that features a living room, mini kitchen, and of course a door that opens to a boardwalk to the sea!

The main level offers dining capacity for 30 and, naturally, a kitchen that is up to the task, as well as an expansive veranda with an unforgettable view of the Gulf. The day starts early down on the coast and with 10 king beds (as well as two twins and three sets of bunk beds), all will start the day refreshed and ready to enjoy all that Nordic Villas has to offer. 12 bathrooms and two full sized washers and dryers assure that whether your plans include a wedding, a retreat, or a get together of family or friends, your stay will be memorable and comfortable.

The Nordic Villas cluster is a private, gated community of seven homes (eight units total), featuring two private pools, four large charcoal grills with seating areas and a gas fire pit, generous parking areas, carefully maintained grounds and plantings, and boardwalks from all homes to the beach. Each pool includes a large lounge area with plenty of seating. Leave the crowds behind and come enjoy this Orange Beach vacation oasis! Nordic Villas is the perfect location for family reunions, weddings, team and company retreats, or just friends and family looking for the peace and privacy of large beach homes.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Cancellation for this property must be 90 days prior to arrival

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The home is very outdated, lots of issues from leaking toilets to mold growing in numerous places...

The place was large enough for our family and the air on each floor kept it cool! The place is in need of some major updating and repairs Mold growing is a health hazard! We had to hand wash dishes as the dishwasher wouldn’t drain floors had lots of cracked and broken tiles the rooms with carpet were nasty and stained Kitchen didn’t have enough dishes to keep up with large family No Broom in the house Exterior doors on balcony sides don’t operate properly I got yelled at by vacasa management while trying to enter the door code to get in apparently I was supposed to write down the new code they were giving me because the emailed code didn’t work 12 bed 12 bath Water heaters didn’t keep up Numerous bedroom doors didn’t lock Light fixtures flickering and loose from wall Shower handle in bunk bed room just spun in circles Remotes in bedrooms didn’t work Why pay a cleaning fee if the home is dirty for us? Floors were filthy No extra trash bags 2 bags was all Fridge smelled of fish, ruined food and drinks

Great beach getaway

We had a blast at Dalarna. The views are fantastic. We felt like we had our own strip of beach. We felt safe letting the kids play in the sand on their own. The location is close to a grocery store, a seafood market, and plenty of restaurants. It's a very spacious main living area and all bedrooms are adequate.We'd definitely stay again!

Everyone gets their own bathroom!

We had 18 family members for a 90th birthday party celebration. Even though the area is ridiculously overbuilt, looking out from the gulf-side windows of Dalarna all you see is beach. Quiet and lovely in January.

Ladies Tennis Trip

Everyone loved Dalarna. We are always looking for large homes and this one was the best so far. Our group of 19 adult women had plenty of room. We loved having 10 king beds and every bedroom had its own bath. Icemakers and refrigerators on every floor was another plus! Great location and plenty of parking. We will definitely book this house again.

Tennis trip

Everyone appreciated having their own bedroom and en-suite bath. Three refrigerators, three ice machines and three washer and dryers met all of our needs. Two of the patio chairs were broken though and we would have reported them but not sure if someone would be there when someone came. Kitchen cabinets could use a good wipe down to take care of stains from fingerprints. Would rent again though.

Dalarna is Dalarna

We have stayed at this house several times(7 or 8)with our golf group. All in all it works for us, but the interior (furniture, & balcony furniture especially, etc...) is getting pretty tired. It works well for large group of men, not concerned with cooking utensils and all that. It has the best bedding arrangements for a group of men, lots of single kings. With all that said we'll probably be back there next fall as well.

Great house for large groups

We have stayed at this location twice in the past 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed our stays. We have a large group and having 10 rooms with King beds and private baths is fantastic and difficult to find, especially on the beach. The location is great as it is close to everything in the area. There are some minor normal wear and tear repairs that need to be made and a second stove/oven would be great for large groups, but overall we would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to large groups looking for a nice beachfront home to rent.

Orange Beach review

Orange Beach Review We had a large family at the home for this vacation. The home itself was accommodating for our family. Each of the 12 bedrooms has a bathroom. There is a large kitchen/open area with seating for 32 on the main floor. The patios on the second and third levels were covered and were used constantly throughout the trip. The easy access to the beach and pool was great to have. Unfortunately we had several issues in the home throughout the trip. When we arrived at 5pm (after the 4pm checkin time) the home had not been properly stocked. Most importantly there were multiple cleaning issues that had not been addressed. One of the bathrooms had mold in the bathtub and was not useable. The HVAC filters throughout the home also needed to be changed, and it was evident they had not been changed in some time. We also discovered a swarm of termites in the home on our second night. We had to purchase bug killer to take care of the issue. The exterminator did not come to the property while we were there and I was told that request had been closed even though it was not addressed. Last, the door to the second floor patio broke and we had several members of our family trapped outside for close to an hour. We were able to eventually fix the door so it could be opened. Several hours later maintenance did come and fix the door. There were other issues throughout the house that were annoying but did not impact our trip (dryer not working on second floor, door handle to

Spacious but kind of run down

It is spacious with plenty of room but there were so. Many. Things wrong. We promptly reported and it was several days before anyone showed up. Having the only oven not work properly for at least 3 days (and a non functional elevator for the same time) is totally unacceptable at this price point. Some instructions said to strip the beds, some didn’t.

Beautiful views

This house has gorgeous views! Sitting on the back deck enjoying a drink and the views is very relaxing! It was a perfect size for our very large family. We loved that every room had its own bathroom. If I had any issues or concerns, vacasa was quick to respond. It was in a great location close to shops and restaurants. The dryer broke on the second floor. They had someone come out quickly to state it was broken but never was fixed during our stay. We did have 2 other dryers. Home has normal wear and tear from other renters, but does need some tlc.

Family reunion at the Beach

Large, clean, and comfortable. Loved that it was right on the beach! The old fashioned elevator was useful for taking luggage to the 2nd and 3 rd floor. The beach is deep (a lot of sand to walk across to get to the water), and requires climbing a small Sandy hill. It was difficult for some of our family with mobility issues. The deck/balconies got a lot of use from us. It fit our group well.

This house is amazing.

Our family celebrated Mother’s at this amazing home. The home is very spacious and met my expectations. It’s simply decorated not to much going on. It’s close to Stores and restaurants. The views or amazing from the second and third floor. The problem we experience was the air circulation on the first floor guest complaint of being hot. I reached out to the manager Colleen and immediately got air condition guy to come and check it out. We was told due to the doors open and closing with high traffic volume family coming in. It will take longer to stay cool. But just know it’s much cooler on the second and third floor. My family enjoyed staying at this house and we highly recommend it for others to experience it.

Wonderful stay

We had 6 wonderful days with family and friends. The house is spacious and loved that each of the 12 couples had their own room and bathroom. The view is amazing and it was easy to access the beach.

Great Layout/Repairs needed

House is a great size but is in need of several repairs. Dryer on main floor did not work. Ice maker on bottom floor did not work. Bathroom switch on bottom floor did not work (had dropped inside of wall) so the person in that room had to shower in the dark every day. Doors on the balcony were warped and did not come together well. Called/texted Vacasa multiple times and only got a repair person to look at the ice machine on the last day of our stay.

The beach view was fabulous. Very roomy house. Great for our group of a dozen senior golfers. Could use some additional pots and pans and a couple sets of steak knives. It sounds like the motor on the second floor dryer is going out. Might want to check that out.

Family Wedding Weekend

Dalarna was absolutely wonderful in every way. Plenty of space for the whole gang and right on the beach that everyone took advantage of sun, sand, and ocean. Ample kitchen and dining areas for big family meals. Loved having an ice maker for chilling our favorite beverages.

So Dirty

Beachfront and pool access with quick car access to restaurants and entertainment are the perks here plus a working elevator in the home! We had ten adults and ten children between newborn - 17 years and the rooms and beds were plentiful. The cleanliness is ghastly. I’ll post pics here if I can figure out how. Mold in windows and doorways; drips of food/drink in kitchen; garbage can with food/crumbs upon check-in; dirty dishes in cabinets and on shelves; food and wrappers in couch cushions; parts of 3-4 coffee pots but no complete set. We purchased two 12-cup makers and left them. For a home that sleeps 30 and costs more than $12,000 we expected to have bowls in the kitchen. There weren’t any. Light bulbs that were out were changed within 24 hours but the request to have the utility closet locked (with paint and other maintenance supplies)…since we had small children in the home…was unanswered. Carpet could stand to be replaced but cleaning it would be a good start. Grateful to have family under one roof from four states to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary but disappointed in the cleaning we had to do on our once in a lifetime vacation.
