Offering access to incredible shared amenities, including indoor, outdoor, and kiddie pools, a whirlpool spa, an exercise room, saunas, and a children’s play area, this marvelous, family-friendly condo is simply unbeatable! This tastefully decorated condo is part of the Carousel Hotel, which is famous for its ice rink and amenities mentioned above. Enjoy an oceanfront location with picture-perfect beach views and a convenient balcony with a lounge area. Cook up a masterpiece in the fully-equipped kitchen and surprise your group with tasty meals and beach snacks! Then, retreat to the inviting living room with a flatscreen TV to experience a relaxing evening watching TV. This retreat also has ceiling fans in every room, an extra-large water heater for showers, Comcast with voice commands, and all cable channels including premium movie channels, all sports packages, and news channels.

*The opening and closing of building amenities is at the discretion of the building. Please note during the off-season some amenities are not operable. Call with questions.

This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 10.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The ocean view and location was perfect. The condo itself really needs some work and updating. The front door doesn’t close tight unless you lift up on it. Big water stain in bathroom ceiling tile. Issues with the key swipe cards erasing very easily.

Beach view perfect

This home accommodates plenty of people. Loved the porch and all the seating. Bed in main bedroom is really comfortable. Living room furniture is super outdated. Pull out couch is really bad and needs updated. Front rooms get really hot. Had to keep all fans running 24/7 plus use the extra in the closets to try and keep the front cool. There is no front bay view porch like the pictures show. Other than those few complaints, the room worked for our family of 8.

Beautiful Condo Needs Good Cleanng

Easy Check-in/Check-out; Great Balcony; Comfortable Master Bedroom; Nice amenities at Carousel albeit crowded. This condo could easily be a 5 star with a little tlc. Front left burner on stove loose/disconnected. Weird connection of sink to countertop left a mysterious black funk that wouldn't come clean. Coffee pot and Keurig cruddy. Dirty sock in master bedroom closet in plain view. With some maintenance and a good cleaning this place would be GREAT!

Oceanfront Condo

Although the unit was as pictured, it had not been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. There was trash left on the patio. The linens were located in the closets and not sure if they had been washed because they just seemed to be thrown there. A few of the bathroom tiles were moldy and there was a random wire hanging across the patio slider. . We would not rent this unit again.

Not recommended

The pictures do not show how run down this unit is. Very disappointed. The unit had a broken A/C unit and the unit is very run down. The sofa was so scratchy we had to put a blanket on it. I couldn't even use the microwave because the rotating glass plate is missing. There was a ginormous hole above the shower in the master bedroom. When I was dying of heat from no A/C I pulled out a broken fan from the closet that had the button missing to turn it on. Many more no good things. I would definitely not rent again.

The room could have been cleaner the carpets were filthy we had to have the dryer door sliding door replaced which they did they never worked on the air conditioner which I asked in the office this time I wasn't really pleased

Great oceanfront location

We have stayed at the carousel before at a different unit and know that it’s a pretty outdated building in a good location and great oceanfront views. Pros: comfortable bed, very cold AC, spacious balcony, full size washer and dryer, location, views, Starbucks, pools, onsite dining, daily kids activities, fun family hotel Cons: room smelled of smoke, poor housekeeping, floors still sandy from previous tenants, bath mats filthy and dirty, ice maker broken, unit is very outdated and needs a little touch up paint and tlc. Also, laundry doors broken and off track. I called to open ticket for Ice maker and was told maintenance will get back to me. No one called or even come by to fix ice maker. However, the day before check out, someone did call and asked if we wanted another cleaning. I declined the extra cleaning since we were checking out the next day. Would have been nice if these issues were addressed on day 1 and not day 3. Anyways, not the best experience. Vacasa seems to have good customer service since you can text them your questions and concerns but seems the ball dropped somewhere as far as following up and getting things done in a timely fashion.

Nice Stay

We have stayed at the Carousel 1012 a couple of times. The space accommodates my family. Love the spacious balcony. Since our last stay Memorial Day weekend, the master bedroom ceiling fan no longer works and the condo air didn’t cool the unit off well. Since our first stay in 2020, the unit still hasn’t fixed the washing machine. You have to stick your finger in a hole where the power button use to be to turn it on. That’s dangerous. The sleeper sofa mattresses need to be replaced badly. Your basically sleeping on springs. Hope the issues will eventually be fixed.

Filthy

This unit was a complete disappointment. The entire condo was filthy. The sheets were not changed on the pull out from the previous renters - there were crumbs on the sheets. The mattress was completely bare in spots - so the kids were sleeping on the metal bars. There was garbage in the corners of the room. Nothing was vacuumed. The unit smelled like cigarette smoke. It was not ready to be rented. The response from the renter and VRbO was non-existent. The ice maker was broken, we had to fix it. The fan in the master was broken. We had to fix it. The electric went out and we had to use the breaker. And we purchased our own cleaning supplies and candles to make it somewhat bearable. I would never recommend.
