Enjoy laid back island luxury in this brand new 3 bedroom villa located less than 5 minutes from the town of Cruz Bay.

The Salty Turtle is only a short 3 minute drive to Cruz Bay for dining and shopping, 10 minute drive to the world famous North Shore beaches, and Coral Bay can be reached in a 25 minute scenic drive.

This newly constructed private villa is nestled 250 feet above the Carribean sea in Estate Enighed on the idyllic island of St. John.Relaxand take in the gentle island breezes with unencumbered views of Cruz Bay, St. Thomas and beyond from the vanishing edge pool.

There is a beautiful view to take in no matter the time of day. Have yourbreakfast accompanied by fresh morning island breezes overlooking the turquoise waters of Cruz Bay. Lounge at the pool with a cool beverage after lunch, take in the color rich sunsets at dinner, and complete your evening admiring the twinkling lights of St. Thomas.

Inside you will find a stylish island setting with brand new furnishings and tropical design.

The upper level King loft is both spacious and private. The main level master includes an ensuite bathroom with plush queen bed. The second main level queen bedroom is adjacent to the second full bath.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The host was incredibly helpful and always available for any questions. The house was very clean, and we really appreciated all the extra amenities like coolers and beach chairs. The pool and lower outdoor area were wonderfully private, giving us the perfect space to relax, enjoy the water, and spend quality time with our family. The host also gave us many helpful recommendations for St. John.

Awesome stay at Salty Turtle!

We had a great stay at the Salty Turtle! The property manager was super helpful and showed us around the property once we arrived. The house was super clean and beds very comfortable. The pool and the view were also incredible -we will definitely be coming back!

AMAZING!

This property is a gem- so close to shopping and restaurants and north shore beaches. The house itself is well set up with everything you need and comfortable sleeping. The real show stopper is the outside area. We came back every evening and enjoyed the pool and the sunset- easily the best part of our stay.

Perfect home

This home had everything you needed just bring your swimsuit!Extremely cozy, clean and convenient to Cruz bay. The pool was an extra bonus after a glorious day on the beach. The view is amazing. We will definitely stay here again

Awesome Stay in St. John

We had an absolutely wonderful time in St. John. We selected the Salty Turtle based on the reviews, location, and amenities. It did not disappoint! The house was fabulous and exactly as advertised. The pool and deck area were amazing with fabulous sunsets. While the roads and driveway were a bit challenging - very steep and narrow, after a few days we had it mastered. Definitely plan on coming back!!

Beautiful Villa

The Salty Turtle had all the comforts of home, with some exceptional twists. The pool was stunning and very much welcome after a long day on the beach. The housekeeper Nellie was extremely kind and gave us some great advice. Good food is found on the island. The roads were dicey at best. We loved our stay!

Salty turtle

Very new and clean property. Pretty pool was not used much by us due to a couple of rain days but when landscaping is fully completed it will be really really nice. Like many places in St John, you need a jeep lol, but we will certainly come back to this property

Beautiful home overlooking Cruz Bay

Beautiful remodeled house sitting up on a hill outside of Cruz bay. Of note the house does not have window blinds- only very minimal solar shades that let in surrounding property lights at night and allows sun to wake you up as soon as the sun rises. If you need dark sleeping rooms- this is not the property for you.

Soooo relaxing

We had 4 people in our group and it was just right. Even though it is a three bedroom, I think 6 people would be tight. The pool is amazing! It really surprised me that it was over 6’ deep. The property is not finished yet. There is wood temporary railing still up, the patio ceiling is partially finished, the sliding door from the living room is VERY difficult to open/close (it almost feels like it is going to break and cut someone’s hand). Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Even with the updates/repairs needed I would definitely stay here.

Thank you for the 5-star review! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and would return for another! When planning our outdoor pool addition, we knew although it would be a long process the final product would be well worth the wait. Our goal was to provide an expansive outdoor living area showcasing the beautiful island views. We made a last-minute decision to go with pickled tongue and groove ceiling under the covered area. This has added a little extra time but the final look is proving to be well worth it! Crews have been working in between stays to complete the last “lipstick coat” of the project. We really appreciate that it did not interfere with the enjoyment of your stay! The small stretch of temporary railing below is for code purposes until all painting etc. can be completed before installation of the railing to match that around the pool. The home is built with hurricane proof protection. The sliding glass doors are heavy duty and do need some greasing after extended use. Thank you for letting us know so that our property management can get the issue remedied for our next guests!

Luxury living with all the amenities

The Salty Turtle might be the best value on the island. This cute little gem was just what my family needed. Unlike so many other tropical homes this one is not an empty tile and concrete box. It’s got plenty of plush furnishings and rugs and everything is of fantastic quality. The handover was simple and straightforward and Nelly was more than accommodating. The pool was a fantastic bonus and the location was right above Cruz bay with a fantastic water view. Check out the whole St John inventory and it becomes quickly clear that this is one of the best. Especially considering the price is right in the sweet spot.

Absolutely perfect

This home was absolutely perfect. I have stayed in many vrbos that the listing and photos exaggerate the reality of the property. This home is was the exception! This property exceeded my expectations in cleanliness, and beauty. It is generously equipped in the kitchen and with beach chairs and coolers. We also appreciated the nice beach towels and fluffy bath towels. Having a washer, dryer, grill, and dishwasher for our use was very nice, too. Our family of five didn’t want to leave. After very busy days out hiking, snorkeling and exploring, this home was the perfect place for us to return. I can’t wait come back to this property!

Great place with a gorgeous view!

We had a lovely stay at this property! Very clean, comfortable, and so cute! The view in itself is worth the stay. Great location, just a few minutes drive to the market and to town. The one thing I wish I'd known smis that the listing said there was a pool area with a lounge and said you could lounge by the pool and watch a movie, etc... the pool was recently just finished and the landscaping/lounge area are still being constructed, so non-existent. Definitely should have been noted. Therefore the pool area wasn't used much. Also, the roads are pretty steep and windy getting up to the property, so we were glad to have had a Jeep. We didn't know before we had already rented, but the property owner or management have a referral for a place right in the island to rent from. We will definitely go that route next time! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come again when the construction is finished!

Great Vacation Home

This property is brand new with beautiful furnishings. Plenty of space for the six of us in our family. Great floor plan. Beautiful sunsets from deck and wonderful views of Cruz Bay! Need a vehicle with ground clearance but great location otherwise. Hope to stay here again! We love St. John and The Salty Turtle!
