Enjoy your own personal walkway to the world-famous beaches of Duck watching the Sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. This home comes complete with everything you need for a magical Outer Banks Vacation. A spacious fenced-in pool area complete with a Hot Tub and Grill makes for the best back yard Bar-B-Ques for any grill master in your group. Maximize your lounging on the multi-level decks as you beat the heat in the shade or soak up the sun on top enjoying the 3 story view of paradise.

A fully stocked modern kitchen and open great room encourage families to enjoy meals and quality time together and are a great place for game nights and team building. Speaking of game nights, the lounge comes complete with its own pool table and deck access so you can keep the evening going without waking the rest of the house. From watching dolphins from the top deck to soaking in the hot tub after shopping or golfing, there’s nothing like your own oceanfront home to make a vacation a core memory.

Located on Gulls Flight a single-road, ocean-to-sound community offering vacationers peace and quiet while remaining close to the nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions of both Duck and Corolla. Guests can enjoy fishing, crabbing, watersports, or a leisurely walk on the beach within minutes of each home. A community soundside pier is available for guests to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets Duck is known for. New LVP flooring in 2023!

The house was nice, location was excellent. We enjoyed our time. Minor issues that did not impact our stay. The rental managers offered to correct while there, but as no impact, we opted to have them come after our departure. Overall very positive experience.

Great, oceanfront home

We had a wonderful vacation here. The house has a large living area, good pool and deck straight to the beach. Very close to Duck, but far enough North to miss some of the traffic (and you can head North to good restaurants too). Couldn’t ask for more!

Beautiful property

The property is beautiful and the location was ideal. The house was not dirty but there were some oversights in cleaning the floors. I would recommend updating the coffee maker as well. Aside from these 2 minor things we encountered this is a fantastic property and we would definitely stay here again with our entire family!!

NICE Beach House

The house was very nice. One bathroom could use updating and the half bath outside was kinda scary-but worked!! Pool was nice and good size and the walkway to the beach was great! The sand was SO HOT several days but made the water feel so good!! The rental people are quite frugal with the supplies so just assume you need to bring your own-even salt and pepper. And tip is just wash the linens when you get there or use for exfoliation.

Beautiful location. Nice house. Carpets dirty, kitchen floor sticky. Some dining chairs, sticky. Vents covered with dust. Second floor master had no ac. Pool had a lot of sand in it. ( Don’t know if there was a storm previously? ) BUT , we had a great week with our family!! Thank you.

I think we could have slept 12 comfortably. We thought the house was fantastic. The living space was great and the new decks were very nice! With a couple of small extra details it would have been perfect. It needs a few kitchen items such as potholders/oven mitts/dish towels and was short on hangers in the closets. We would rent here again.

VERY POORLY MANAGED PROPERTY!

This property was not cleaned properly upon check-in, there were dead crabs in the pool (5!) upon our arrival, the hot tub wasn't working, one of the a/c units was not functioning properly, and there are a lot of deferred maintenance issues. Never again!

We appreciate your feedback and will make certain the appropriate vendors are contacted with regards to the house cleaning & pool cleaning upon your arrival. Typically, the pool and spa vendors visit the properties very early in the morning of each turnover day. Taking in consideration that this home is directly on the ocean as well as the vendor schedules and weather (specifically wind speeds) into account, the occasional crab is not unheard of. but nonetheless, we apologize the alignment of these factors caused a damper on your vacation and we will use your feedback to improve the guest check-in experience.

Here is my honest review. The house was nice. Pool, hot tub, deck, kitchen, bathrooms, beds…. All great and we thoroughly enjoyed them. However, I do have two complaints. One big, one small. The big one is with the maid service. We paid over 5k to rent for the week plus extra for the linens. We spend all that money and we had to make our own beds, buy our own hand soap, buy our own toilet paper and the “linen package” was just left in bags outside by the hose. The towels and bed sheets were literally still in their packaging. At first glance we thought it the dirty stuff from the cleaning before we arrived. I understand, but It felt lazy and I know they can do better. My small complaint is that there was few to no games in the house and the pool toys were moldy and smelled terrible. We didn’t have the best weather so it would have been nice to have just a normal deck of cards. But nothing worth getting upset over. Other than that, our stay was just fine. We would stay again… but in the off season when it’s cheaper. I don’t think I would pay a summer price to stay here. P.S…. If you’re staying with elderly or disabled. The stairway to the beach is pretty steep.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We mostly enjoyed our stay the beaches were awesome and our view from the home was great. However, the beach reality company we rented from were not very customer friendly and the house was not in great condition. We spoke with beach reality several times including in person and with exception to the one manager, they were all very rude and not very professional or customer friendly. Bottom line is we never ever book a property with beach reality. And the condition of the home was not great especially for how much it cost. Rusty heating vents doors that did not work strong musty odor. We did have to call maintenance twice for a broken washer and door and they did respond promptly.

The owner is planning on completing an extensive amount of renovations during the off season, but I could work with you one on one if you ever decide to stay with us again.

Good property with some minor issues

Pool and hot tub are a great way to complement a week at the beach. Pool was clean and private but heating option was pricey ($400). You have a good view of the beach but the house is set back with beach front houses on both sides partially obscuring your view. This was not clear on the website. You have about a 90 degree view of the ocean with a private walk to the beach. 4 bedrooms with 2 master suites, 2 bunk beds, and 2 twin beds are a major plus if you have two families with kids. Main top floor has a huge kitchen and island with spacious seating and great place to socialize. Big screen TVs on every floor and bedroom. White carpeting and older chairs are noticeably dirty and worn. Nice deck with plenty of seating but no shade in the morning and early afternoon. Parking is limited. Getting into and out of Duck, NC on a Saturday is a major headache with loads of cars and traffic jams. A nice place and reasonably priced for the location but it is a worn rental property that needs a little TLC.

Certainly sounds that the house over met your needs with regards to bed configuration and large rooms as well. We will certainly pass your comments on to the owner about the carpeting and chairs needing to be looked at for replacement. You are surely correct about the traffic going in and out of Duck on a Saturday. We generally recommend our guests arrive early/or later in the day on check in day and spend the day on the beach or browsing in Duck Village and leave early on check out day to avoid the congestion. The proximity to the beach and the living spaces were perfect for our joint family vacation with four adults and four teens. The property was clean and well-appointed for eight guests. The decks were fantastic, especially the beach facing ones. The 'sunset' deck was a little dirty but nothing we couldn't deal with.The only elements of dissatisfaction with the property was the number of maintenance issues we dealt with. First was the inability to turn lights on in the garage/hot tub/BBQ area; turns out there was a short in the wires. After diagnosing the problem, it was resolved quickly. Second was that the hot tub wasn't holding water. Luckily the pool man came and was able to fix the problem on his return trip. Third was the pool heater, which was never able to be fixed during our stay. The pool was a big reason we chose this property so not being able to use it was disappointing. All in we had maintenance people visit the property 6-8 times during our stay, which wasn't ideal, thankfully, they were all polite and as undisruptive as possible.All that said, we would stay here again.

Very Dirty

1) Ants in the Great Room. Didn't bother me but my wife and kids do not like bugs in the home. I had to run to Harris Teeter to purchase insect blocker. 2) I found Band aid in the outdoor shower 3) Sand throughout the house 4) Closet for the master bedroom was locked. My elderly parents had to use random things like chairs and tables etc... to hang their clothes. 5) Found a dead (very stinky) crab in the pool. Pool also had lots of sand. Kids didn't want to swim. 6) The Beach wasn't pretty. My party didn't go in the water. 5) Property Management company was unresponsive after a couple initial requests. I booked a quick trip, without reading the reviews, to celebrate my mother's birthday. In hindsight I wish I had read some of the reviews. This place is decent for a young group of kids looking to have a good time but for a family that it used to cleanliness, this property would not work. The place is being managed by a property management company which clearly doesn't treat the home like its own. I recommend to the owner. Switch out property management companies. Definitely switch out cleaning companies, at the least. Home also needs updating. Hope this helps! Ken

We also seen crabs that were very cool looking. The only thing I didn't like upon our arrival was there were two doors left unlocked which was a concern. Other than that it went well
