My son and I were very happy with the unit and the location. Highly recommend this place but suggest you bring earplugs as the peacocks make very loud noises in the morning.

Great house in the Grove

This is a really nice small house in Coconut Grove. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood while still within walking distance to restaurant and clubs in the Grove, or to the parks on Bayshore Dr. Great place to chill out on the porch and watch the peacocks parade around. This house had everything we could have wanted (and more) and the Host is great!

Bert was friendly and reached out on the day we were to arrive. Property was as advertised- met all of our needs. Nice walk to the Coconut Grove restraunts and shops. Lots of peacocks- beautiful but VERY noisy- especially in the morning.

Miami !

This was our first time in Miami and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect, getting to the freeways was easy. They had everything you need including a little cooler that was perfect for us to take drinks and snacks with us. The neighborhood was on the border off some very expensive properties so we had no worries about any hinky people. Bert and his wife were very kind and east to communicate with. Would stay here again!

Unique Rental and the best landlord.

Truely a special experience; it is a unique property and Humberto greeted us on arrival to answer any questions and to see if we needed anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were competing in a Laser sailboat regatta and had a car full of sailing gear and a Laser on top of the car. So, we were a little concerned about parking on the street, but we had no security issues parking in front of the rental.

One of the best hosts weve ever met!

The house was just as described! Lovely clean little quaint place, perfect for our stay. Bert could not have been any more helpful! From the start of our stay until the moment we left, Bert done everything he could to make our stay as perfect as possible. Even lending his beautiful dog to our 10 year old for a cuddle when she was missing ours at home!!!! We would most definitely stay again if we come back, and completely recommend the lovely little blue house and its wonderful host. Thankyou again Bert! We hope to see you again 😀

Enjoyable stay! Would recommend!

Coconut Grove is a very nice neighborhood! Lots of beautiful trees and plants. We loved seeing the peacocks. At one point they were running on our roof! Definitely a fun experience. It is a little bit of a distance to south beach (We ended up favouring Miami Beach and because of Miami's traffic it did take us anywhere from 40-60mins to get there). This wasn’t a problem for us however, since we had a rental car. Bert was very accommodating and quickly responded to all my questions! It was nice that we had a parking spot right outside of the house. Never had to worry about that! The neighborhood was quiet. We would sit outside until 10pm or so and never had any issues. My family and I had a nice stay here. We would stay here again. We didn’t have any problems or any issues with anything. Thank you Bert for everything!

Pest problem. Found a huge dead cockroach right by the front door as we walked in and another one in the bathtub, so made us wonder if this place was even cleaned before we came in. Brought it up to the host and asked if this placed was treated and cleaned and he just mention how his cleaner must’ve missed it and apologized. That’s was not a very reassuring answer. Don’t know how one could miss a dead roach right in front of the door as you walk in. We were here for a wedding so we didn’t have time to find another place for the week and throughout the week we stayed there we would find roach droppings and occasionally find some other type of bug crawling on the walls.

Birthday Stay

Stayed here on the way back from my birthday trip. Bert asked if we would stay at the house next door. No problem. The yellow house was clean, comfortable, and easy to get to. Neighborhood was a little inner city, but being from New Orleans, it was nothing we weren't used to. The peacocks call in the mornings and evenings and one even came right by the house. Bert was easy to get in touch with and a great host.

Wonderful place to stay! We don’t give more stars because there’s not a higher rating. Bert, the host, was amazing and very helpful.. he even gave us a short tour of the neighborhood and gave us a long list of recommendations for places to eat and see. The neighborhood is so nice, everyone around is very polite and it’s a great area to relax, eat good food and see beautiful places… We even got to sit in the porch and have the company of some peacocks walking around! The house was very clean and organized.. beds were comfy and kitchen had all the necessary stuff to cook and hangout when staying in. We definitely recommend this place, we would stay there again whenever we are back to Miami, thank you for everything!!! 😁
