Come and enjoy our coastal Bay Park home located in a central, quiet neighborhood minutes from beaches and bay. Our 2300 sq ft home is spacious with an open floor plan both inside and out. Bright colors, surf art and unique landscape make this home a special place to relax and enjoy all that San Diego has to offer. Walking distance to Bay Park Village which offers incredible dining, craft beer and coffee establishments. Trolley to downtown is a 5 min walk.

The space
This is a beautiful, spacious, CLEAN, well kept home with beautiful ocean art throughout. Three large bedrooms and a queen sofa bed allow space and comfort for large groups. There are two couches in the main room, a wrap around couch in the den and another large couch in the master bedroom. The Chefs Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cookware, and small appliances (air fryer, electric kettle, waffle maker, egg cooker and more). Large deck with seating, BBQ and fire pit to watch the Sea World fireworks at night. Beautiful landscape allows for a resort/tropical vibe. Jacuzzi sits under a palapa.
Guest access
The home is located 1 block from Bay Park Village which hosts great eating, craft beer and coffee establishments. Siesels Market provides a fantastic selection of high end gourmet items, fruits and veggies, a full deli and its famous butcher shop will not disappoint. The home provides access to 2 parking spots in the driveway and 2 public off street spots in front of the home.
Other things to note:
This location is centrally located minutes from Mission Bay in the heart of the City of San Diego. You can pretty much UBER anywhere in 10 min- Downtown, Airport, Sea World, Mission Beach, La Jolla and the San Diego Zoo. Coronado Island is ~12-15 minutes away. The neighborhood is family orientated and dog friendly. There is a gourmet market, yoga studio and fire dept one block from the property.

Amazing time

We had the amazing time at Kim place. The house was so clean, we love the cute back yard, skyline, the cleaness, especially fully equipped kitchen made our stay so much smoother. We would def love to be back. Book it!

Wonderful home in a great location

This is the third time we have stayed in this home. It is quite comfortable and walking distance to a grocery store, and several good restaurants and bars. It is also just a short drive to the beach, Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home

I stayed with my family while visiting my son, who is stationed there in the Navy.The home was roomy, clean, with lots of personal touches, including fresh flowers.Well stocked kitchen with all amenities. Plenty of linens. The best part was the backyard gathering space with a beautifully manicured landscape with nice grill, fire pit, hot tub and fragrant orange tree.Close to cute coffee shops, market and restaurants. Easy access to everything.We all absolutely loved this home and I’d definitely recommend it.

Perfection!

If you’re even considering booking this property, do it!! Everything was amazing! The home is immaculate, it has everything you need, and the host is superb! Communication is quick and easy, as is check-in! The back yard is an oasis! Location is close to almost everything and the small local restaurants in the area are great! We had a fantastic time and I’m sure you will also!

One small issue

The location was ideal for our travels, and the house was so stunning that I felt compelled to express my gratitude upon our arrival. The owners were exceptionally kind, providing a level of hospitality that surpassed any previous experiences I have had with VRBO rentals across the country. We were in the midst of a military relocation from Las Vegas to Hawaii, flying out of San Diego with our two dogs, and we stayed for three nights. With three small children and all our belongings in tow, everything went smoothly. However, we accidentally left our AirPods and chargers on the nightstand. As soon as we boarded the plane and realized our oversight, we reached out to the owner. They kindly offered to send the items back to us, and we provided our address, also offering to cover any shipping costs. Unfortunately, the AirPods never arrived. After eight weeks, which is understandable given the slow mail service in Hawaii, I followed up but did not receive a response. It’s disheartening, especially after such a wonderful stay. I would still recommend this place to anyone, as we all felt incredibly welcomed. Perhaps this was just an unfortunate oversight, and I hope to hear back soon!

Excellent Choice for our Family Reunion

This was the most well appointed rental house we have ever been in. They had everything you could imagine for the kitchen. Plenty of plush towels and linens. If you forgot something they had it. They even offered some snacks and a bottle of wine as hospitality. There was a lot of thought and detail on the tropical decor throughout and surf memorablia. It really made us feel like we were at the beach! Great stay all the way around!

Great Location and amenities

Great walkable location! We enjoyed the fireworks in the summer and hot tub to relax. Our best rental stay in San Diego so far.

Our second stay as good as the first

We enjoyed our stay so much at this home last year that we rented it again and hope to make this an annual experience. The location is wonderful and the home has everything you might need. The host even has beach chairs and beach towels available for use. It won't disappoint.

Excellent Bay Park Rental Home

We had an excellent week at this Bay Park home. It is an impressive rental home with just about all the amenities one could ask for during a vacation. The rooms are large. The backyard and patio make for a nice private retreat.

Great house for family of all ages

We looked for a house that we could host our family coming in from out of town. This house was spacious and had all the things to host people over for the day. Cleanliness was very high, appliances were all super clean and location was central to everything. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic visit - the house, it's location and surf/beach vibe was so welcoming. It is convenient location to get to airport and main roads. Additional bonus, walking distance to local coffee shop and restaurants. Owner/host are great to work with -- always available to answer questions and or provide recommendations.

Would absolutely stay again

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical when I saw the property on Google Maps, (The street ends at a wall). But boy, was I wrong. We were met by the lovely Lori, who gave us a tour of this completely renovated home. Three clean bedrooms and Bathrooms. Open living room/kitchen area. Separate dining room and front room. All restored, clean, and lovingly decorated. The beds were comfortable, the showers strong, Soap, towels, and bedding were top notch and clean. It's obvious that Lori cares about the little things. It was important that we had a full kitchen to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. We had that an more. Lori even returned with butter, which I had forgotten. She also provided a larger cutting board, and bottled water. We wound up never cooking breakfast or making coffee in the coffee maker (provided with fresh ground coffee). The one block walk to a very quaint business district with local gems. Bay Park Coffee became our go to for breakfast and coffee. Top notch in both cases. We also ate at the local restaurant Luce. Highly recommend. There are other local restaurants/breweries and meat shops that we didn't get a chance to try. But we'd go back just to do so. It is close to the freeway, so easy access to all points San Diego related. Could not recommend more.
