Surfside Shores is surrounded by private neighborhoods on three sides and the Gulf of Mexico to the south, providing a quiet beach getaway you will not want to leave. Temporary Sanity is eloquently decorated in neutral tones with hints of blue and turquoise. Enjoy the ease of entertaining your family and friends with the homes open kitchen, dining and living room. When you`re ready to hit the beach, hop on the available golf cart* and enjoy the warm Gulf Coast sun! Beautiful and Fresh

This property is really beautiful! Everything is new and fresh. The beds are very comfortable. The fourth bedroom with the bunk beds is small but if you have kids who don’t need space, it should be fine. The neighborhood is quiet. We were there mid-August and the beach was not crowded at all. Some days it was just us for several hours! The house is on the edge of the neighborhood which is nice for privacy, but I would definitely recommend getting use of the golf cart. The distance to the beach is not a reasonable walk. We used the golf cart and everything was great! The property owner was very quick with responses. I did have to probe a bit for more information but they responded always within a few mins. A few things to know before you go. These are not necessarily negatives just things I would have liked to know to help prepare for the trip. * Starter dishwasher soap, paper towels, and trash bags are provided but will not last if you’re there for a week. * I would have liked more hand towels for the bathrooms and kitchen. * There are no spices in the kitchen, so you’ll need to bring some from home or buy them. * The check-in instructions don’t get sent until right before check-in time. I understand not wanting to send the key code until as close to check-in as possible to prevent early birds. But I think at least providing the info that there IS a code would be helpful to send out sooner. When driving from several hours away it’s disconcerting to not know anything about the process. We took the ferry and didn’t know if we would need to drive into town to pick up a key.

Excellent property

The overall all experience with this property was excellent. The house was beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Such a beautiful home in the perfect location. We did not want to be on the busy main strip and this was perfect for us. The golf cart made beach trips so much easier with grandparents and little ones. It was so quiet and peaceful there, the home was large enough that everyone had a comfortable amount of space, and the beds were comfortable!

Perfect place to stay

We rented this gorgeous home for about a week after getting married in Gulf Shores. Our time here was great. The beach was close and the neighborhood was quiet. The neighbors were friendly and there was not much traffic coming in an out, so you don’t have to worry about playing outside. The cornhole game kept us entertained for a while along with the board games inside. The golf cart was a perfect addition, especially since the beach is a little far of a walk. The house was clean and the communication was extremely fast with the owner. If we need a place in this area again, we will most definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

Great Experience!

Beautiful home! We enjoyed the space! The beds were comfy. We loved the appliances because we did alot of cooking. The golf cart was very helpful in getting back and forth to the beach. Owners were very available for communication. The home was a good drive from the big stores (which we knew) so make sure you stock up on things (food, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent to name a few) before you get there so you can enjoy your time at the home and beach! There are a few stores near just in case you forget.
