From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing is provided by Solitude and is intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this condo can accommodate ONLY 1 vehicle. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY.

This condo in Solitude's Eagle Springs West is the perfect destination for your next mountain adventure. With Apex Lift just 200 yards away, you can easily be first in line and return home for lunch. Village dining options are right outside the building, so you can choose to make each meal or dine out! Enjoy access to Club Solitude located nearby in Eagle Springs East, or take advantage of the large communal hot tub in your condo building. Recent improvements include new linens, lighting, carpets, and paint.

The open floor plan makes it easy to spread out or come together. We have 3 private bedrooms - 2 bedrooms each with a king bed, and 1 bunk room with 2 twin bunks - and 3 bathrooms, a dining table for 6, a living room with cozy seating for all, and a kitchen with all the tools and dinnerware you'll need, Apex View will give you all the comforts of home, but at 8,000 feet above sea level!

Beautiful right in the middle of the village but

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an amazing corner unit. Second floor, in the middle of the village. Good views from living room and one of the master bedrooms. The unit itself has nice amenities, well taken care of, very comfortable and relaxing. Our only problem is the power was out for most of the time. We only stayed there two nights. So we checked in day one, by the time we got settled and made dinner, the pool and everything was closed. The next day the power went out. From midmorning until 930 at night. They closed the pool. So we never got to go. The one thing I was most excited about was going to the spa/pool. It was also was really warm w no ac. The company did check in on us after I let them know what was going on. The park in the middle had three barbecues. So we ended up making dinner on the grill, which is OK except everybody else was too, there is food in the village but is pretty expensive. Overall, paid way too much money for the experience we had and no offer of any discount or return or compensation.

Family ski trip

Great experience. Nice, well stocked condo. Whole family had a good time. Only negative was communication- it would have helped to have a answer on early check-in even if it was ‘sorry but no’ Instead we kept being told to keep waiting to see were only being told ‘no’ once we were en route and it was too late to do anything about it.

Great place! Great location!!

Condo was super clean and super convenient to dining, skiing, shopping. We skied at Brighton, which was a mile down the road, but Solitude would have been even more convenient. Condo was well stocked and spacious. Management was very attentive, helpful and always quick to respond. Highly recommend.

Family stay

5 of us (ages 28-66) enjoyed a family visit. Those who wanted to ski, did. Others were able to relax at the condo. Kitchen was well supplied, and if anything was missing, our condo contact would make sure we got it in a timely fashion.

Fantastic condo and location

We've stayed at Solitude for more than 30 years, usually getting a condo through Solitude lodging. This time, we wanted a bigger condo and liked the VRBO listing.This is a lovely unit with a lot of space. Two bedrooms with king beds and a third bedroom with a couple of large bunk beds.The kitchen was well equipped with about anything you need. And bathrooms came with Avenu lotion dispensers.Check-in was easy with a key in a lock box in the condo building entry foyer. As will all Solitude condos, you have a locker for skis in the locker room (near entryway), an outdoor hot tub in the building and access to the "Club" with the pool, hot tubs, game rooms, sauna, across the way in the Eagle Springs East building.A few side notes: Both restaurants in the Solitude village, Honeycomb Grill and St. Bernards, are amazing this year. Casual fine dining with talented young chefs. We cook most of our meal in, and take sandwiches for the lunch, but like to eat out one a week. This is the best year in many many years for these restaurants.And if you have kids, the Solitude Kids Academy is awesome. My kids, now in their 30's, are expert all mountain, off-trail skiers due to Solitude's instructors, and my my grandson just started.

Comfortable condo

Three full bathrooms which was great! Just wish more towels and larger ones- all were old style towels which fit kids perfectly but not adults! Parking is a huge issue on mountain and unfortunately every time we called Solitude for info, we were told different things! We were lucky getting a spot in the garage, but had friends who could not even with a pass. Because it snowed daily, it took 1 person an hour to clean and de-ice outside car! So more than 1 car per condo is a real pain! Lastly, we would have preferred one keycard per adult but only had 3, therefore we had to make sure there was someone always nearby. Otherwise place was great.

Pluses included shampoo, conditioner,Avenno body lotion in all 3 baths. Fireplace easy to use. Hot tubs and pool areas clean ,well maintained. Suggest new pillows as all quite lumpy. Be aware only one parking spot available as part of condo rental. Other parking avsilable at $50 per day. Responsive communication from the property management company with answers and solutions. Beautiful views of the mountain, porch for gathering outdoors . This vacation spot is ideal for those that want easy access to Solitude mountain ,with Brighton just up the road. Would return with our 7 person entourage...

Great Location

I loved that the kitchen was well stocked…..we brought our own supplies (based on our past experience with different rentals) , but if we hadn’t we would have been fine. It is nice that there are spices, Saran Wrap/foil and plenty of cookware. Great location and wonderful hosts to work with. They were very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had. Would definitely book here again.

From a location standpoint Apex View was perfect. walking distance from the Apex chairlift. AllowedOur group to come in for lunch during our ski vacation. Underground parking spot was key too! Didn’t have to clean off our truck after the 20” of snow received. Being central to all the restaurants and bars was key too. The condo had plenty of room for 6 adults to stretch out and relax post skiing and preparing all our meals. Apex View is the perfect location for your next ski adventure.

Great Location, Great Stay

Condo was very comfortable for our family of 6 adults. Layout was great and appreciated that each couple had their own bathroom to use. Kitchen was very well stocked for making meals in. Loved the location and proximity to the slopes! Would definitely stay again if ever at Solitude. Between the comfort of the Condo and over 80 inches of snow while we were there, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Great week at Solitude

Great condo - looks just like the pictures and is incredibly convenient to Apex lift. Most of the family members went skiing and 2 of us went snowshoeing. The location was great for both. We ate in almost every night and the condo was well equipped to be able to do that. Enough room for all 8 of us. The management staff was incredible. Communication both before our stay and during our stay was top notch. All check-in information was communicated clearly before our arrival. About halfway through our stay we were in need of a heating pad. Someone from the management staff actually stopped on the way to work and picked one up for us. They went above and beyond. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Enjoy the benefits of Solitude Village when staying at Apex View! Solitude is divided into two areas from which to begin your winter or summer mountain adventures—the lower Moonbeam area and the larger Village base area where Apex View is located.  Apex View is inside the gates of Solitude Village, closer to the Apex lift than the shuttle drop-off. The Apex Express chairlift is a two-minute walk, one hundred and fifty meters from the house, providing very convenient ski access!
