Big Cottonwood Canyon is a unique mountain community with winding roads and private driveways, we work to ensure no one gets turned around and that we maintain good relationships with our full-time neighbors by avoiding guests unintentionally wandering onto their private property. We would like to apologize; there has been an insane amount of snow this year, and it has been causing issues at many homes. Although we are thrilled that our guests have such an amazing snow year, its causing us maintenance issues we are taking care of as quickly as possible.

Please come again and stay at Uinta. We have made several upgrades to the property.

Mount Majestic apologizes for the lack of snow plowing. Usually the local plow guy is very on the ball and plows the long driveway quickly. I contacted him for explanation and he explained he experienced equipment issues during the time of your stay and was behind. The hot tub should not have been cycling every hour and we are sorry for this. We have reset it to filter less frequently. The controls are easily pushed and probably were set accidentally to 1 hour. Thank you for bringing these issues to my attention so I can correct. Hope to see you again, Carole!

Thanks for your review and suggestions, they are much appreciated:) We apologize that the ski-in/-out option misled you for beginning or intermediate skiers, being surprised with a black run is never good, especially if you had to walk to get there! There are a couple other ski-in/-out options with easier access through Cottonwood Lodging Company if you're interested in checking them out, we'd love to have you book with us!
