Creek cottage on Conodoguinet Creek a class 1 stream on the International Whitewater Rating system with private access for kayaks, tubes and canoe - bring your own or rent from us. Convenient to everything but private. Hershey and Carlisle are an easy 20 minute drive. House is located on creek with a septic system so we use environmental safe products and ask guests to conserve water while showering. We have organic apple, peach and pears on the property for guests to enjoy in season. We allow pets with additional fee. The house sits on a Good Hope Road which is a busy route connecting Carlisle Pike and 81. The house is 5 minutes to grocery, drug store, movie theatre, and all major food choices. Creek living with all amenities so convenient does mean you will hear cars passing by when outside. We don’t allow parties and ask that when outside to respect neighbors. Fire pit is available and you can bring your own wood. Fishing is permitted in creek under PA Game and Fish guidelines. Canoe, kayaks and tubes available to rent. For guests staying 5 days they are free to use once liability waiver is signed. The access for pulling trailers is limited to small trailers entering from the carlisle pike road. Absolutely lovely cottage tucked away on a river with easy access to grocery store, restaurants etc. Kayaked down the river and pulled out right at our cottage. Host was terrific and property was reasonably priced. If you are looking for a get-away spot in central PA, this place was terrific!

We gathered at what we dubbed “The River House” over a long Labor Day weekend. Our three adult children met to be together for a Pennsylvania family event! Our adult children have not all been together for a while. The “River House” was perfect. Lots of space to be outside and play in the river with tubes and kayaks. We loved the setting . So close to so much but felt like a special oasis, away from it all. Our Host was great answering our questions on a very timely manner! Check in /check out was easy!

Beautiful property! Amazing backyard! The backyard was the star of the show and made for amazing mornings and evening sitting by the water. I wish I could buy the house. It’s amazing. The turn in the driveway is very sharp & steep, which was one of the only downsides. House was very clean and four bedrooms, made it perfect and gave options for where people could sleep. There was plenty of extra blankets to use while you’re sitting around. There’s a Keurig and they supply k cups! The screened in porch was such an amazing bonus to have. I could sit out on the front table and do my make up and drink coffee without any bugs flying around. I can’t wait to stay here again and was recommended by a friend who stayed here several times. Very, very, very clean property!!! Very easy to get in! Great hosts

It was perfect! The yard was a huge feature for an active family. Also the covered porch so we could sit outside and not get ate up by the mosquito's. The yard was well kept so the children chased fireflies and watched a bunny. If we are in the area again I'd definitely book! A stay in the city that made you feel like you weren't in the city!

We have stayed at this property 3 times now. Very close to everything we need! We love the screened in porch, the fire pit and the creek views. Very relaxing! The host has always been accommodating and communication is always easy and fast!

This creekside cottage was excellent for what we used it for. A place to relax and have a space for our dogs to be able to join us. The host was amazing during our second night when a tree fell on a live wire and we couldn’t get in the house. Even though the creek was low due to no rain our toddler loved walking in it and finding rocks to throw.

The cottage worked well for us for a one-night stay to visit family in Camp Hill. It was clean and spacious. The backyard was very nice and we would like to have stayed longer in order to enjoy sitting by the creek and to use the nice fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place right on a large creek with good fishing! It rained most of the time we stayed here, but the porch is fantastic, it's huge and screened in so definitely took advantage of hanging outside and enjoying the rain drops.You definitely don't feel like you are near anything, great setting, but close to anything you need. Very clean and well stocked. We stayed here because our son played in the big33 and needed to be here for everything leading up to the game. Absolutely better than a hotel for all of us and more relaxed. Highly recommend for any family need or get away

The host was good at communicating. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen seemed to have everything you could need to cook any meal. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows.

Creek side peace and space to be a family! Our host was delightful and hospitable and the home was perfect for our college age kids to meet us from Messiah (16 minute drive). Our 11 year old loved the large yard and fishing! I hope to be back!

Unfortunately when I arrived, due to a miss communication with the cleaning crew, there was an unmade bed in one of the bathrooms. Also rubbish in the kitchen. The place was very damp guessing due to its location near a river. There was a nice fire pit and walk way down to the river, if we had more time would have enjoyed this.The place smelled of gas too. I believe the room below the living quarters might have stored lawn mowers and gas which permeated the upper level.

This is our third Air Bnb and we love sharing the opportunity with our guests to visit and enjoy the area. WE are super host rated and strive to provide excellent service. We live very close and are able to support if needed. You will have the entire house and property to enjoy.

This property was an original creek home from the 60's that was recently renovated! The house is cozy and comfortable but retains its cottage feel. The property has a wonderful 120 foot creek access and the porch offers a wonderful view of the creek and sunset. Waterfowl and birds love the property. We have bird houses and fruit trees on property and our guests are welcome to grab a apple, peach or pear in season! We plan to add raspberries and blue berries in the spring!

Creek front access to launch canoe, kayak or tube. Fishing is also a favorite of the area. The house is 3-5 minutes to anything you will need! The property is on the Conodoguinet Creek which is a Class 1 stream on the International Rating System. A class 1 stream is characterized by easy moving water with a few riffles and small waves suitable for a beginner. But you must be aware of the level of the creek. The house is raised above the flood level and the water has not reached the parking area in over 20 years.
