This was my second stay in two years at Periwinkle Cottage. It's a very special place and the scenery on Herick Bay will restore your soul. The owner, Beth, is so very nice and makes sure your stay is perfect. You're a reasonable (scenic) drive to most anywhere. One of my favorite places in Maine!

Lovely cottage!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage! It was a quiet spot on Herrick Bay with all the amenities to make our stay fun and comfy!

Perfect Maine vacation

Truly one of the most special places I’ve ever stayed at. Waking up on the water and having coffee was one of the most luxurious thing. Can’t recommend enough. Only wish it was available next summer!

Pretty much every room had a direct view of the ocean. The place is very charming and right on the water. I could even hear the waves one evening with my windows open. The beach is a great place to walk. The kitchen had everything I needed. The cottage was clean and well taken care of. The setting and views are amazing. The owner was very nice and I'm glad I got to meet her. I hope to stay again in the future.

Maine Character

This is a truly beautiful spot with amazing views of the water and shore access. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The house is somewhat rustic but is very clean and has everything you will need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. We had a power outage while we were there and found out there is a backup generator-much appreciated! Note that there is a grassy slope to walk down to the house that might be a problem for someone with access issues. Enjoyed our stay!
