Welcome to 26C Read Street, Dewey Beach! Enjoy beachside living in this beautifully updated ocean-block townhouse, just steps from the sand in the heart of downtown Dewey Beach. With three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a powder room, and sleeping space for up to eight guests, this spacious and comfortable home is ideal for families or small groups. The main level features a bright, open-concept layout with a fully renovated kitchen, dining area, powder room, and inviting living space, plus a first-floor bedroom offering single bunk beds, a sleeper sofa, and direct access to a private deck. Upstairs, the primary suite includes its own ensuite bathroom and a secluded balcony perfect for quiet mornings or relaxing evenings, while the third upper-level bedroom provides a queen bed and a bunk bed with easy access to the nearby hall bath. Located ocean block in downtown Dewey Beach, you're within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife—so you can park your car and enjoy everything Dewey has to offer right outside your door. Amenities include central air conditioning, an outdoor shower, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and an electronic keypad system for convenient check-in and check-out. Parking is limited to two vehicles, and the garage is not accessible to guests. Linens are not provided, but a rental package is available upon request; pets and smoking are not permitted. This home rents weekly, Saturday to Saturday, during the prime summer season.

Overall, it was a great place to stay! The parking is a little tight, especially since we have a minivan. Thankfully, the neighbors of the triplex were helpful and we worked together to be able to park well enough. The appliances are nice and updated. Beds were comfortable. I thought it was a nice touch to have both a Keurig and regular drip coffee machines. I loved the private balcony off the main bedroom. The extra blankets were fine but a bit light for me, so if you are like me and like heavier bedding, I recommend bringing something from home. Again, overall, very nice beach house! Loved being able to easily walk up to the beach, especially since we have 3 little ones! Thanks so much to the realtors for being super helpful when I had questions!

In the heart of nightlife and fun

The location on the beach block with easy walking access to all of Dewey Beach is the best part of this property. Our teenagers loved the fun vibe of the area and we loved being able to walk back and forth to the beach throughout the day. Easy bike or trolley ride to Rehoboth. We rode bikes there every day. While I gave 5 stars for all categories, there are a few items I feel worth mentioning in the review which I don't think deserve lowering my ratings, but could be helpful for future travelers: We didn't have any issue with parking our two smaller cars, but if you're looking to get a couple Suburbans or something similar in the assigned spots, it's going to be tight. The listing says two cars max, but the info binder states you can park a third in front of the unit's garage if it doesn't interfere with the neighbor. Wish we brought light blankets in addition to sheets. The blankets on all the beds were very thin. There's a skylight directly over the the master bed. We improvised a shade for it. Definitely would stay again, no real issues at all and communication with Remax was great. Very responsive to our inquiries.

Good location, but dirty

The location was good, it is ocean block, no crossing the busy road. Parking is tight, but at least free. Space and layout is good. Decor and furniture is definitely dated, powder blue carpeting on stairs and upstairs was old and dirty. I could have dealt with the dated decor, no big deal. The problem was the first day we checked in we had to sweep the floors and what we got into the dustpan was disgusting. Lots of curly black hair, dirt and sand. Sand is expected, but we are a family of blondes, not a black hair to be found. Which tells me the cleaning between stays is seriously lacking. Our feet and socks were black from walking in there. The walls are dirty, cabinets, quilts, everything. I emailed ReMax about this, but never got a response. There were also ants all over the kitchen. We travel a lot and are used to staying in vacation rentals. This was among the bottom of the barrel. I would not stay there again, nor recommend it.

Great house with a great location

This home was even better than advertised. The space and beds were perfect for our group and the access to the beach was top notch. The kitchen was well appointed with updated appliances and had more than what we even needed for our stay. Highly recommend this home.

Great location with fantastic water pressure

Please note although comfortable main bedroom has king not queen bed. Coffee table in living room is unstable. Lock in bathroom doesn't work becareful. Smell from dumpsters next door was bad Sharkey should close them. Washer.dryer.refr are awesome kichen is beautiful fully stocked. Location perfect

Getaway in Dewey

Great location and house was exactly at it appears in the pictures. Neighbors were extremely nice and you can walk to any place in Dewey from this location.

cozy and convenient

Extremely pleased with the amenities and location of this place! Oceanside so no busy roads to cross to get to the beach. Little Store right across the avenue and Sharky's next door make for convenient needs or meals. Great place to stay!

Great Vacation

This was a great beach house for my family and I. We loved the location. Easy walk to restaurants and loved that the trolley picked us up right at the end of the road.
