Sleeping Ute Micro Suite in beautiful SW Colorado

The Sleeping Ute Microsuite is our newest suite at Mountain View Lodge. This apartment has a small bedroom (hence the name micro suite) with a queen bed. It also has a full bathroom and small kitchen (sink, stove, refrigerator). You can use the shared deck to enjoy the sunsets over Sleeping Ute Mountain (maybe while you are here this sleeping warrior will rise up to walk the earth again). It is very common to see deer walking through the yard or in the neighbor's fields. This suite can be the base for a couple or individual wanting to experience SW Colorado and Mesa Verde National Park. The apartment is only 15 minutes from the entrance to the park. OMG.. This apartment is amazing! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the deer were an added bonus each morning. We hope to return again soon.

The views are ranch terrific of the Ute Mountain and the mesas. the town of Delores and North on hwy 145 are beautiful and fun. Cortez has good places to eat.

Mesa Verde Home Base

We stayed two nights when we came to visit Mesa Verde National Park. This property was convenient to the park and shopping/dining in Cortez while being in a very quiet and pretty setting in the country. This had all the amenities we needed and worked out perfectly.

Weekend getaway

Property is equipped to allow you a great night sleep. Quite farmland to view with no city noise. Wake up with coffee and very light meal preparation.

good home base for Mesa Verde

Cute little suite. Full kitchen. One small snag, the front door was deadbolt locked when we arrived (unable to enter via keyless entry) and the owners had to come let us in. Response was prompt, they were there in 10 minutes. The place served our needs. No livingroom area but when its just where you're sleeping between adventures, that works out fine.

Very quiet, peaceful and gorgeous views of the area and some wildlife. The commode is seriously the only downfall - when flushed it almost seems like it'll overflow then it will flush. And it is TINY and lower to the ground than what you'd expect. No TV but really didn't miss it.

Pleasant

It was a great place to stay. The walls are a little thin and you can hear some of the other guests that are also checked in at the same time. Other than that it was very nice.
