I truly enjoyed my stay at Castle Reef, everything was nice, clean and convenient. The only suggestion I would make is an air fryer would be nice to have for the kitchen. Also, the TVs in both bedrooms were a little difficult to turn on. The beach view was good, and we had no problem with parking. I will definitely return.

The place was fine with the exception that I think the kitchen needs to be sprayed more often. There were little ant type things all over the counters

Well equipped and comfortable making it a great place for a friends getaway. Loved sitting on the porch seeing the beautiful ocean, and just a short walk to the nice pool area and beach.

We rated this a 2/5 on accuracy. The location on the VRBO map showed the place close to Flagler Ave, when in fact it was 2 miles down the beach. Also, the owner did not tell us that they were dredging the beach during our visit. We liked the condo. The beach was otherwise nice. However, the listing is misleading. We feel we should get some sort of compensation for that.

Good stay

This was a great place for our family. Took our parents with us for possibly a last look at the sea for them! They loved it. Convenient to town with a short drive. Thanks for nice stay. Bonus for us: We got to see a rocket take off from Cape Canaveral! Very cool

Old, somewhat run down. Old furniture. Complicated and unreliable TV’s. Dingey towels and linens. Unpleasant odor in condo. We would not return to this property.

Good location but…

The location is great and condo pool and location are excellent. The living room furniture was nice. However, both mattresses need replaced. The wasn’t a dresser in one of the bedrooms for clothes. The other bedroom, had 2 dressers, but were old and not very nice. The kitchen was ok, older cabinets painted to look newer than they are. Not enough, paper products, toilet paper and paper towels. There were only 2 bathroom wash cloths in total. Difficult to find extra pillow cases for additional pillows.

Pros: Good-size 2/2 with a nice patio with a “side” view of the ocean. Patio with a nice high top style table and chairs. Comfortable beds! Plenty of extra towels, blankets. In the secondary bedroom closet there are beach towels, boogie boards, camp-style chairs, bamboo tanning mats. Internet worked fine. Kitchen was pretty much fully equipped with what looks like recently upgraded counters, sink, appliances. Elevator to the 4th floor close to the unit. Laundry room is almost right outside the unit to the left where you’ll also find the garbage shute. Paver Pool area is beautiful, directly overlooking the ocean with plenty of places to sit, both tables and chairs and loungers. Private beach access on the no- drive part of NSB - so very chill. Gorgeous. Friendly people. Observations: when I book a hotel on the beach, I choose the property by the map filter so I can pick an area I want. VRBO may have fixed it, but when I booked, the property’map’ showed an area just north of Flagler Ave, within walking distance of downtown. The unit is actually 2.4 miles South of Flagler Ave. if you want to avoid taking your car in (Parking and traffic are no joke especially on the weekends) you have to Uber at the cost of 15 each way not including tip. I tried to take it up with VRBO and they said the location was in the property description so it was my fault. . IMO, The unit could use an electric kettle (I like tea in the morning).

I did have a problem with payment going through. I had to deal with the host myself in order to get my payment paid. I feel vrbo should have made sure that transaction. Because I gave them all my information for payment and the communication between VRBO and host did not happen. The only thing I got from VRBO was the reservation. The condo was amazing. Would stay there again.

Clean and comfortable condo

This condo was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, and well maintained. Even through the balcony does not face the water you do have a nice view. We did not arrive until 10:00pm but with the self check in there were no problems or delays checking in. Contact with the condo owner was quick and accurate. Small market and breakfast restaurant across the street and many restaurants near by.
