The location was great and in the perfect location to town. Definitely recommend an AWD or truck for your stay due to the driveway and mouthwash around. The rental company was fast at responding and coming to repair any issues, even through the holiday. Would recommend for sure!

Great place!!

The cabin was great! Very clean and had everything that we needed. The location is perfect-beautiful views and so close to Helen, Unicoi state park, and great hikes.

Beautiful house!

I stayed at Sautee Sunrise with my husband, son, daughter in law and grandson. We had a wonderful stay! The house is so beautiful and accommodating. Great view! I would recommend having a 4 wheel drive or SUV because the house is on a mountain side with gravel roads.

Weekend Road Trip

We enjoyed staying at this Cabin, it was beautiful just as described. The host communicated very well and was very at tentative for anything that was needed. The location was great and exactly what we needed for our short stay in Helen.

Very nice place

This place is very nice. Just know that in the master shower and kitchen is backwards. The drive getting in was not that awful as some say. The worst part was turning in the driveway. Very vlose to Helen and Cleveland. Loved the location.

Hallmark getaway

It was the perfect rustic Christmas getaway. We loved everything about this house and the views were fantastic. It was minutes away from town where all the shopping and wonderful German restaurants were. We loved everything about our stay in Helen.

Peaceful getaway

We stayed here with family and there was plenty room, comfy and homey. Very peaceful and clean. And the views were so beautiful.

The cabin was neat and clean. The driveway needs regrading. The outside fire pit chairs were rotted and the fire pit is wore out. The upstairs bathroom sink leaked and after sending someone 3 times to fix it, it was still not functioning. It put a hamper on our friends not wanting to leave and enjoy the town, because they didn’t want to leave with handyman there. The property managers responded quickly to request. The interior needs better decorating. Beautiful home, but not homey feeling!

Change of cabins- Amazing trip!

We had a very eventful trip as when we arrived the snow storm had left a lot more inclement weather than we had expected and we were not able to stay at this cabin or the second one they gave us in Innsbruck however the house in town that we were placed in was perfect and the cabin employees were absolutely amazing! Thank you for helping us thru a tough time and finding us another place so we could get warm and enjoy the rest of our trip!

This cabin is beautiful, you can watch the sunset from the bed through the window in the second floor. The cabin needs a little bit of a cozy touch, there were some frames in the walls that you can noticed were removed, it just needs to be decorated a little bit but it’s not a big deal. We had the best time and they were so attentive and responsive, we had an issue with the water heater and they came at 10 pm to fix it really quick. Loved the view and it’s closed to Helen town. I would come back again next year for vacation, we enjoyed the stay

Mostly great

Overall the stay was very good. After booking and payment, I then received an email about needing a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to this cabin. That definitely should have been emphasized prior to booking. A few other smaller items, like no toaster and poor internet speed, but that wasn't going to ruin our day. A nice trip overall.

Sunrise View

This property met all of our needs. We were 7 adults with plenty of space inside & out. We enjoyed the deck with the view of the sunrise & mountains. We used the grill & fire pit as we sat outside enjoying the weather. The house had a well stocked kitchen with all we needed for cooking. The only challenge was coming up the steep road to the driveway. After a couple of times we mastered it. I would definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone that would like to be on the side of the mountain.

Helen, GA family Vacation

The location of the cabin was excellent. Very close to downtown of Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. We also loved and enjoyed the Sunrise and Sunset views from the deck. I'll definitely recommend a 4x4 vehicle. The internet service was slow, the kitchen needs some specific items like a pressure cooker and rice cooker. And last but not least the mattresses of the beds was very uncomfortable, to the point that we went to Walmart to buy a inflatable twin bed for one of the beds in the upper level room. Besides the things I mentioned before the overall stay was good.

Sautee Sunrise by Cabin Rentals of Helen

I highly recommend booking with CROH. They keep you informed about your trip the entire time and are ready to help if you need any assistance with anything that may come up. They have many properties to choose from and i saw several during my stay and they are all very well kept up and clean. I stayed at Sautee Sunrise and the cabin was more than enough for my group of 7. I used the grill outside and enjoyed a fire by the chiminea. The inside was comfortably kept warm with the gas fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped, having everything we needed when cooking dinner and breakfast several times. Everything was clean and it was like I was home away from home. We enjoyed watching several deer pass right by each evening. I would definitely stay at this property again. I do recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle as it is very steep with little area to back up. I think removing a few trees by the garage could help with that.

Overall, the stay was good. There some things that could be improved. The beds were not comfortable at all. I suggest getting mattress toppers. Not enough toilet paper. The handle on the kitchen sink was broken. Trip hazard in the hall in front of the bathroom. The flooring edge stuck up a bit. Some of the other people that stayed with us said the shower curtain had mold on it and there were what seemed to be blood stains on the wall. The location of the cabin was fantastic. Just a short drive to downtown helen.
