Unlike other rural mountain homes, you’re a quick, easy stroll to grocery & wine store, Nepalese take-out, the Garage Bar/Carbondale Beer Works and two, yes, TWO food trucks - BBQ Rib Shack & Taqueria Azteca. Grab snacks for movie night or pick up tacos and craft brews - everything’s within easy reach for effortless family time.

Spend time with family in the expansive Great Room, 75" Samsung art-inspired Frame TV, luxurious Restoration Hardware furnishings, a huge deck for entertaining and 8-person hot tub. Radiant floor heating ensures a warm and inviting atmosphere with Smart TV's in all rooms, including a second 75" TV and surround sound system in the Media Room for family movie nights (popcorn included!).

* Gourmet Kitchen & Dining: The fully stocked high-end kitchen includes access to 2 coffee machines, Ninja multicooker and quality cookware. The culinary haven features a large center island, 6-burner stove, 2 sinks, a 52" double door side-by-side refrigerator, and newer high-end stainless steel appliances. The dining bar area seats ten, providing a perfect spot for memorable family breakfasts and scrabble games. Note: No dining room table.

Exclusive Home Gym Access (limited availability) *Important: this amenity is not part of Vrbo listing. Custom 500sf home gym, equipped with a Concept2 rower, free weights, ab coaster, leg press, and yoga space to maintain flex routine amidst the beautiful gardens. It's invitation-only, limited use due to shared studio space w/family members. (Note: Age 22+. Waiver required.)

- The driveway entry is shared with a red detached studio, located across the 3-acre lot, periodically used by our niece for quiet, creative work. Beyond the entry point, the driveway & home are private for guest use.
- RENTAL AGREEMENT w/ photo ID must be signed at time of booking and a Damage Deposit Hold of $1500.
- There are motion activated front & rear entrance/deck & garage door temp camera-sensor.
- Animal Allergen-Free: Due to our family's physician-verified allergen, we regretfully cannot accommodate animals.

Aspen Snowmass & Sunlight Ski Resort is 25 min away. Sunlight Ski Resort is a wonderful small ski area & sits at an elevation of nearly 8K feet and if your family is learning to ski, the resort offers exceptional lesson packages for a great value.

Fish from your own backyard on Gold Medal waters, tour the area on mountain bike and hike the Rio Grande Trail. Make sure you add Hanging Lake to your trip’s to-do list for a beautiful turquoise lake, waterfall, and breathtaking scenery. In autumn, make time for the Maroon Bells, 25 mi up valley. Be sure to make reservations for entry!
For adrenaline junkies, the area offers whitewater rafting, ATV excursions, horseback riding and even paragliding. Prefer to unwind? Head to Iron Mtn Hot Springs or Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, the world’s largest mineral hot springs pool. Enjoy the 102-degree therapy pool, splash down water slides, relax in lounge chairs, or grab a bite at the poolside restaurant. Families will also love a day at Glenwood Adventure Park and Tram!
