This is Stacey and Darrin Hoover. They have done multiple renovations together which have been on home tours, won design awards, and featured in multiple magazines. "I am an artist that happens to know how to use power tools. I grew up in a builder's home. It's in genes." But Darrin quickly adds this is not a solo act, "Stacey has tremendous taste. She researched and selected all the furnishing choices, the glassware, the top rated hotel towels, the beds and the top tier bamboo sheets on them." Stacey is a health and Wellness educator that is passionate about... vacations. Stacey adds, "We love Lakeside and rented the same cottage, every year, for a decade before we purchased this one. We took care of that cottage like it was our own. And have memories there. We want to share our cottage with guests that want to make memories here too." Darrin is a creative professional. His art work hangs in the 111 and he truly approaches his renovation craft as an artist, "Once a design solution apprehends me, I have to make it. Even if it's hard, I am compelled. I want every place you look to feel resolved, composed, right. Like the feeling you have when you hear a beautiful piece of music."

Unlike many Lakeside rental options which require guests to bring their own bedding and towels. The 111 offers a boutique hotel experience. Upon your arrival, all the beds are made with high quality bamboo sheets and beautiful bedding. The baths are stocked with soaps, shampoos, and highly reviewed hotel towels. "Our guests will be literally steps away from downtown Lakeside. And even closer to the historic Hoover Auditorium. Our guests can enjoy a refreshment in the afternoon. Reclining in shade of the 111 porch listening to a world class orchestra practice for that evenings concert. We lived that very scene last summer. Our windows were open and you could hear Mozart all through the cottage. It was a Wow, this place is cool, moment." Hoover laughed.
