Winegrowers and breeders of "Herford" cattle (parked "on site"), Fanny & Damien welcome you to a charming, authentic, traditional 18th century Burgundian residence, carefully restored, located on their small family farm in "organic farming" (housing chickens & ducks) in the heart of a site steeped in history (old water mill linked to hemp production). Soothing, preserved rural setting, nestled on the edge of forest & meadows a stone's throw from the vineyards, on the edge of a peaceful rural hamlet, at the foot of Mont Péjus (gentle hill protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for its remarkable ecosystems), not far from the pedestrian heart of the picturesque medieval & commercial city of Saint-Gengoux-le-National. Magnificent hilly setting surroundings, mixing nature, agriculture & viticulture, partly protected in ZNIEFF for its rich flora & fauna. Spacious, comfortable gîte. A warm, country feel blending tradition and modernity, enhanced by the gentle, exotic feel of a typical old rural residence (beams, stone wall, staircase and wrought iron railing, parquet floors... all original).
