Curated amenities make oceanfront Sea Ranch Abalone Bay a perfect romantic getaway, girls' weekend, gentleman's holiday, or relaxing retreat for the family. Ample workspace, Pre-planning support, and concierge service assure you have the experience of a lifetime. Guests are required to sign the rental agreement within 24 hours and provide a security credit hold. Up to 2 dogs are welcome. The host welcomes all and does not discriminate against anyone.

Potential for Noise:
We are also thrilled to be part of a growing community! There's a new home blossoming next door, with construction underway. The contractor anticipates work will be done by late December 2025. We've taken measures to ensure your peaceful stay, yet there might be some daytime activity. Construction crew may arrive as early as 7:30 AM with work beginning at 8 AM and quit at 4:00 PM. If you plan on adventuring during the day this won't be a big deal. There's definitely plenty to explore locally. Your understanding and excitement for the local development are much appreciated!

Sea Ranch Abalone Bay is surrounded by meadows and woods. As such, guests may encounter various insects and wildlife traditionally found in a natural environment. As heat and drought increase, you may find ants and/or Jerusalem cricket (potato bug) seeking shelter in the house. We employ year-round monthly pest control services and provide insecticide for your use. Guests are advised to keep the home clear of crumbs and food.
Guests are also advised to feed dogs inside and keep doors closed to avoid raccoons from entering.

LEGAL RENTAL AGREEMENT: Worry-free cancellation: Get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of booking up to 72 hours. Exceptions apply to last-minute bookings. Guests are charged the full amount at booking. A copy of Guest's Legal Photo ID (Driver's License or Passport) collected upon submission of our booking contract is required to verify your identity for safety, security reasons, and assure you meet Sonoma County regulations of age and authenticity of your being the responsible agent booking our home. Guests are required to sign a legal rental agreement within 3 days of booking. Failing that, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Note $80/dog. Guests with dogs must pick up dog excrement or be fined. Of special note in our legal agreement: While every attempt will be made to ensure that all advertised equipment and appliances are in working order at the commencement of Guest's stay, no reduction of rent, rebate, or refund will be issued for a mechanical failure of heater, dishwasher, washer, dryer, TV, refrigerator or other appliances.
SECURITY HOLD: A security hold on your credit card is required. It will be placed separately prior to your arrival or at check-in. Guests are expected to maintain the home and courtyard in good, operable, and generally clean condition. The guest is responsible for any damages or breakage to the Unit by anyone and/or pets allowed to enter the Unit during the rental period. We may elect to either deduct any damage from the Security Hold, charging the credit card on file of the Lead Renter for any damage, breakage, or excessive cleaning costs caused by the Guest and/or party.
SECURITY CAMERAS/NOISE MONITORING: This home is equipped with 2 surveillance cameras located outside the front and back of the home to monitor the perimeter of the property. We measure the noise level inside and outside the property and will advise the guest if it exceeds 50dB. By accepting a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to possible recording at the front and back entrances of the house.
TSRA FACILITIES OUT OF OUR CONTROL: Due to high demand and limited availability of facilities requiring reservations for lap swim and Tennis/Pickleball, as managed by TSRA, we cannot guarantee that all guests will have access to the pools and courts. Please note that no refund(s) will be provided in relation to the TSRA facilities.
PROPERTY ACCESS DETAILS: Guests' check-in, checkout, and full property access details are sent at the time of booking via our contract, digital guidebook, and reminders sent periodically through to and including the day of check-in. Information is sent via email, SMS, and is included in our guidebook with video and written description. Guests are informed that the door code is live at 4 PM, on the contracted time of check-in. The code to the door expires at 11AM on the day of Check-Out, as per the contract. We are available by phone if further instruction or support is needed.
