この施設について

Pine Point, ME Beach house; Kid, Dog & EV Friendly

Steps away from the ocean for beach time, the marsh for kayaking, and many restaurants (for food you don't need to prep or clean up after), this home is an ideal vacation location. Set-up well for multiple families with a separate "kid zone" complete with beds, tv and games. Dogs will also want to tag along to enjoy the doggie door, fenced in yard and morning beach walks. A Level 2 electric car charger (J1772) is available Short (seasonal) trolley ride to Old Orchard Beach and approximately 20 minute drive to the Portland airport, restaurants, breweries.

The house is well equipped for cooking meals in and has a second fridge in the basement. Washer and dryer allow you to pack light. Please note we spend a lot of time cleaning between guests including exchanging or washing every bed quilt, throw blankets, mats, etc. We therefore do not provide sheets or towels. Please plan to bring your own. (We do leave hand and dish towels, hand/body soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, dog couch blankets, etc.).

We have two adult and two kids’ kayaks for use as well as clam shovels and basket to go clamming for steamers (if you want to harvest just grab a day pass at town hall). Lots of beach chairs, sand toys, floats, and yard games for your use at the beach and in the yard. Shower in the outdoor shower when weather permits and enjoy the propane grill and fire pit for night time cooking and hanging out.

So many memories just waiting to be made. Come visit.

This property is excellent and the attention to detail is appreciate (multi-phone charger, kyaks, beach wagon to tote chairs, smore items,). Nice neighborhood close to restaurants and a short walk to a great beach, fenced in back yard, pet friendly area.

Fabulous property!

This home was perfect for our family vacation! Very convenient location with short walk to beach and restaurants. The house was spotless, very comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended!

Family Time

We had a wonderful stay and great family time. The place was just what we needed. Nice location and beautiful weather for the week. Short walk to the beach. Outdoor shower was my favorite!

Our stay at this beach house was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn't be better. Plenty of space for everyone and the fenced in yard for the doggies is perfect. We loved using in the outdoor shower and making use of the fire pit in the evenings. With so many wonderful features and activities available, this home truly offers endless opportunities to create great memories. Liz is an amazing host!

Christmas get away

Our Christmas get away with our dear friends. We had a great time in this home! Clean and spacious! We loved the fenced yard for our two dogs! Though it was freezing, we loved how cute the neighborhood is and would love to come back in the summertime. Beautiful beach with tons of people despite the frigid temps! Liz was very responsive to any questions we had. The house is exactly as listed! We had a wonderful Christmas in Maine!

Perfect x10

We've been vacationing in this area for the past 6 years, renting houses up and down the entire stretch of beach. This is by far the best experience we've ever had. Everything we might need was available to us. The home is clean, well organized, and most important... comfortable. I really felt as if I was in my own home. Liz is an exceptional host and has put together a truly great experience for her guests. We will be back.

Wonderful rental home.

House was spotless and had so many cute details. Just around the corner from the beach and down the street from seafood restaurants on the water both easy walking distance. Fenced in yard perfect for kids and dogs. Downstairs had two bedrooms and full bath, upstairs had kids loft-like suite and separate king bedroom with half-bath. Books and toys for the kids in the house, didn't have to think of much. Do bring linens (they had some available for larger beds but they don't promise them, need sheets for kids room (2 twin and 2 full) and towels at least. Traveled with family and had local friends visit while we were there. Everyone said that this was the best rental they have experienced. Would definitely stay again.

The PERFECT Beach House

There are not enough wonderful things we can say about this property and the hosts! Every detail was covered. From the incredibly soft comforters, to the delicious smelling hand soap, the gorgeous local artist paintings, to the thoughtful gift of coffee and S’Mores (that our little one asked to do every night by the lovely firepit)! The kids room was a hit too! With games and books and all the perfect things. Our trip was cold thanks to Mother Nature, but the trip wasn’t any less perfect. Which is just my way of saying that any time of year at this home would be fantastic! The very short walk to the beach and marina is ideal! We even walked to the beach one day in a downpour and had a blast. Found some gorgeous shells that day! We spent our last night by taking the quick, couple minute walk to Stern’s Seafood, and had the “BonFire” seafood combos. There is nothing like eating with waterside views. The beds are SO comfy you won’t have that feeling of “sad vacation is over but can’t wait to climb into your own bed”! You will never want to leave here. The outdoor shower is nicer than many indoor showers with even a place to rinse off yourself and or your pups! Thanks again, Liz and family for sharing your home! We can’t wait to come back!

My husband, kids and I are excited to welcome you to Pine Point. We loved renting in Maine for years and were thrilled to buy this vacation home to share our love of Pine Point with others. Comfort and cleanliness are our top priorities, as well as little touches that we hope help you to feel welcomed and at home. We are available anytime for answering questions or sharing recommendations. We have places we love in every season so while summer is amazing don’t miss out on fall, winter or spring visits!

The area boasts so much to do. It’s two blocks to the beach and the marsh is visible from the house. Depending on the season you can find epic sunsets from one of them. The neighborhood is extremely walkable with people pushing strollers, walking dogs or biking all day. Speaking of dogs, they love being able to run on the beach or hang out in the fenced in backyard. Our house even has a doggy door owners and kids often like training their dogs to use.

Another popular neighborhood activity is taking the trolley from across the street to Old Orchard beach for a trip to the candy store, arcade, amusement park or the Royal Anchor’s beach tiki bar. There are also several restaurants within walking distance of the house (Sterns, The Bait Shed and The Clambake are the best).

Any season long walks on the beach and seashell hunting are popular activities as are trips to restaurants or breweries in Portland (just an approximately 20 minute drive away).

Recognizing how important dogs are as part of a family, our house welcomes dogs as much as humans. A fenced in backyard, doggie door, dog blankets, a crate, shampoo, towels, bowls and bags all come with the house. The neighborhood is great for dog walking and even in the high season dogs are allowed on the beach before 9 and after 5. (Off season- anytime).
