Whitman Vacation House-A short walk to downtown

A short jont to Walla Walla's gorgeous downtown. This centrally located, home provides central A/C, private rooms for 8 guests and a private outdoor gathering area for a relaxing time at the end of the day. With an easy walk to downtown wine tasting and Whitman College, the Whitman Vacation House is your home away from home for your visit to Walla Walla.

This property is managed by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Walla Walla Realty. We maintain regular business hours to answer any questions and we have emergency on call team members after hours and weekends for any emergency.

Located across from Whitman College in downtown Walla Walla

Guests have access to the entire home as well as the fully fenced backyard.

There are three bedrooms, 2.5 baths on two levels. The main level has a comfortable living room, a well-equipped kitchen, half bath and a bedroom suite with a full bath. A full bath and two bedrooms are located upstairs. In the basement you can enjoy an evening of Darts and ping pong.
Children are welcome.
Other things to note
Our home is a duplex. There are long term tenants next door. There is off street parking with room for 3 cars. There is a garage.
The kitchen well stocked with everything you may need for cooking meals. The shaded patio is lovely for the evening BBQ's. The game room in the basement is a big hit!

Location Location Location...this home is directly across from Whitman College in downtown Walla Walla. This home is easily accessible with public transportation or easy walks to anything downtown. There is off street parking.

Easy check in process. House was clean. The photo of the backyard looked bigger than it actually was. And I couldn’t let my dog off leash because there was a big hole in the fence and the house is next to a busy road. Otherwise it was a nice place. It’s close to town, so walking is a great option. We walked to town a couple of times.

Location was terrific, we walked into town at least once a day! When I booked the place, I wasn’t able to access a form I was supposed to fill out and didn’t get a response, so I was nervous for awhile about it. I recommend reminding people that the downstairs bedroom is ours too. We had forgotten that the first night, but it was cooler and quieter. Overall a really good stay!

Convenient location, enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay at this home in Walla Walla. Walking distance to downtown and a Safeway which made it very easy. House was clean, with plenty of linens and everything we needed. It worked great for our girls weekend.

Close to downtown

Spent 3 nights at this house for 3 adults. Plenty of room for all of us. Very convenient for walking on the Whitman campus or to downtown. Neighbors had a boisterous party one night so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs, just in case. Also if you have a big truck, it can be a tight squeeze trying to access the driveway right off the road. Better to go around to the back and enter through the alley.

We had issues with plumbing (sink not working in upstairs bathroom for 2 days). No communication regarding when it would be fixed - plumber just arrived without notice. We were asked to vacate property repair time.

Wine tasting

It is a great little house! There were 2 couples it provided us plenty of room, it was very hot when we checked in due to batteries in the thermostat needing replaced it is close to downtown which was great. The color of the house is green not yellow we were looking for a yellow house. Fun place to stay and lots of places to explore.

Whitman Graduation Family Gathering

We were all very impressed with the home. It was comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed morning coffee in the beautiful backyard, relaxing in the air conditioned living area in the hot afternoon, and ping pong battles in the basement game room. The house is in great proximity to the Whitman campus and we were able to walk to all of our events there. We also enjoyed being able to walk into downtown to enjoy all that Walla Walla has to offer in dining, wine tasting and shopping. It was great to have a central place where our 8 family members could easily gather and hang out in between events. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen and especially the coffee and bottle of wine that were provided. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great house close to everything

This is a great house close to everything. Loved that we could walk downtown and not have to drive. House is well appointed and comfortable. Had a bit of trouble with code at first but managed to figure it out. Great spot for wine weekend with friends!

Everything we needed

Great location super clean. We met up with friends. Our kids enjoyed the basement. Cooking was easy with well stocked kitchen. Easy to find, easy parking, close to downtown and grocery store. Comfy beds!

We had a great stay at Sam's place. The house has a convenient location right by Whitman College and close to downtown. The backyard and game room were big hits!

Excellent

The house was great and everything they offered was there. Even showed up to a surprise wine bottle and chocolate. Had an issue with locking ourselves out, but Sam was very responsive and had it fixed within 10 minutes after arriving. The other tenant is right next door however, and trying to keep everyone quiet the whole weekend was difficult. So if you’re staying with multiple people who can’t be quiet, this is not the house for you. If you’re in bed by 10, this house is great! I would definitely recommend for the right renter, however I don’t think we will be back due to needing the whole house to ourselves!
